The new FX looks like a cheap Korean car IMO, and the G is boring as all hell. Drive one once and you won't really want it anymore. Sort of like having a faster Camry. I recently took a trip in a new G37x since it easily fits in my companies lease budget, but it did nothing at all to excite me.

Nissan is coming out with some diesel vehicles in the future, but I don't know when for sure 75% of all Nissans (and almos all of the Nissan trucks and suv's) driving here are diesels. And IMO, as far as reliability, the Renault/Nissan modern diesels are far behind german diesels. Diesels used in old Patrols are very nice engines. Will last a lifetime...it you don't live too much I would agree. Considering that NO-ONE in Japan drives a diesel (their diesel fuel sucks) I wouldn't get one, on the hand Europe is more than 50% diesel so...
