Welcome to the IHoP
Man that sounds backwards to me, ha. RWD is the worst for the winter IMO. 4WD is so nice for the winter, especially when there is packed snow on the ground. You don't have to worry about the rear end sliding around you on corners on a RWD or the front tires just skidding straight instead of turning on a FWD. But those usually only happened if you gave it too much gas during the turn. All my previous cars were FWD and I did all right, but my Explorer is 4WD and you can just flip it on and not have to worry about a thing. I plowed through 10-12" of fresh snow on the lawn at my grandparent's farm and it was so fun and never even hinted at getting stuck. No way I could have even tried that in my old car. I occasionally drive the M5 on the ice and love it

Long term I'd put my money on the M holding value.

Lots in and around that price point, especially a year or two old. so far my priorities are #1. gas mileage, really need upper 20s on highway and would like to see mid 20s for my combined driving. #2. reliability, i put this below gas mileage because i would hope that in today's market all cars are reliable #3. Looks, I like the Tc, and I"d prefer a 2door, #4. Options.....gotta have cruise, power windows, abs and i think that's about all that i really care about at this point. #5. if it's used, has to be about 40k or less (would be far more comfortable with 20k) If #2 is assumed that today's cars are reliable why the ridiculously new low mileage?? At your age, I'd never buy anything anywhere near that new. Buy something way nicer and older.

Welcome to the IHoP
Yep, I'll know more once they are actually in the dash. I still haven't quite figured out how I'm going to do it yet though. Really don't want to cut the dash pad up and not sure there is really to much room in the vents up there. Figuring on putting them up in the corners (but not to far up in there), cutting a hole for them but mounting them up underneath the dash depending on where I can find room for them. I also have that damn airbag to work around too. I can make a trim piece so the hole in the dash doesn't bad at all but still not sure about cutting it up. But what the hell. You got my ears thinking about those again =) I told you, and of course, R2 that is what I'd do.

Gladly fill in a spot, I didn't PM you yet though based on my rather delayed response.

The "X"con 12" prototype has arrived
I prefer the paper, but don't disagree with the "differentiator" comments on the CF. I am all about function over form though.

New Front Stage
I'd get the ones that sound better to your ears, either set can sound just fine as long as you don't chince on the install. If you do, expect them both to be underwhelming.

If you were listing this for sale, would you would describe the condition and what should I ask for it? 1982 CB750k, 8240 miles, new sprocket, chain, battery, carbs recently gone through, new tires. - I have all of the pieces to remove the fairing - Stereo doesn't work, powers up by nothing. Perhaps I will put an old beater of some sort in there. Right now it is a factory Ford tape deck Only thing it probably needs are rear shocks. * Exhaust is non-original and off a different year or something, I have no idea.

Doesn't light my fire. I thought you didn't like exotic-looking sports cars? That would make me drive a GM, I already looked to see how much the damn things are and not even one is built yet.

and my legs feel like they are trapped. Same with the little lotus. The Elise aren't so bad, but the Espirit's are terrible. Josh used to have one, but I physically cannot drive it. There is no way for my feet to both be on the pedals with the steering wheel and dash where they are, folding like a pretzel up top doesn't help either.

Amp got a little sparky on install.
No positive and you got spark? Not possible...

Optimal Enclosure for 2 12" q's
Why are you both running SQ subs if you want to be "louder". Big ported box, tuned high will get the loudest but perhaps you both should use different drivers.
