pioneer or nakamichi???
?? That isn't a sentence nor does it convey any sort of point. Between the Nak and the Pio, I agree with TF the Pio is well worth it just for the tuning options. Critically important if you ask me.

Welcome to the IHoP
Bought a Sceptre 1080p 32" TV for use as a monitor for my dad. On his desk, luckily the desk is big as it needs to be a ways away. Pretty cool for that resolution at only $600

I disagree with your glass or ceramic comment; however, only in the world of induction. Considering it never gets hot it is easier to clean. As for pricing, a real gas range is more than most induction ranges. As for the cookware, the only thing you are limited to not using is copper and of course aluminum which I don't call cookware anyways. I do realize that 304 stainless also won't work, but have never seen a pan that was made from stainless that pure. Guyers in Plymouth and Warners Stellian are the first two places I'd look, but Vent-A-Hood in St. Louis Park has a great owner. I am of the opinion that there isn't a single gas range at Home Depot that you can actually cook on. This is what will be going in my kitchen as soon as I find a good granite man (and potentially rob a bank). http://www.wolfappliance.com/Rangetops/SRT...dBurnerRangetop Actually it won't be a bank, but the day that the M5 is sold the kitchen gets a new set of appliances. Mmmmmm purty I'd kill for a Viking 36" Sealed Burner VGRT Rangetop with a griddle in the middle myself...mmm Major build quality issues on the Viking, I prefer the look but don't want to spend 5g's on something that fails. You can put a griddle on top of any section of that Wolf or all three if you want a 36" griddle.

Zapco 9.0 vs Sundown 3000d
Discussing SQ differences for a sub on amps of this quality isn't really valid. Either are fine, both will do power and really for a sub that is what you need. Considering the price difference I don't quite know why you'd pick the Zap.

Need Expert Advice
Considering you didn't at all discuss your front stage, the response of the BL is probably more than adequate for your needs.

Definitely not an R8, which would be by far my selection out of the four if it were in there.

I could use some Revo 3058 in brown while we are at it. I prefer black. Amber lenses >>>> gray lenses.

I failed on the hot tub mission. As for the counter top range, what are you looking for? You will notice a whole lot of price fixing by manufacturers in the range front. Induction or gas?

?? Why a pair of 100.4?'s Depending on your idea of setting gains and using the volume knob you could be fine.

N00b Questions About the Q and BL
That right there says a lot. You are only looking to get loud. Hence the BL is your future sub. Sad but true. Personally I'd avoid the Hifonics crap like the plague.

Welcome to the IHoP
The active portion is not the difficult part, the installation is. Can't get much simpler than a 2 way active setup although it will cost you amp channels. I really should have bought Kent's big belle for that reason.

Welcome to the IHoP
Ann Arbor is nice, late is sort of a way of life there. They finally called three hours late. Normally I would say shove it but it is worth putting a couple days worth of work into that program. Expect everything to be a bit hippy and late there. I have an office I manage in Ann Arbor, by FAR my favorite "city" in MI.
