  1. If the homo company was Midwest Speaker then I am sure it was 100% operator error.

Expect me to disappear after tomorrow for about 10 days. I might pop in, but I am going to try to enjoy Europe and avoid the pc.

Wow, the whole forum is slow today.
  4. Not that curvature, in fact it could improve it.
  5. Probably the other way around. Putting a sub in a generic box is a very, very bad idea.

The Virago's are teeny, I sat on one and it was ROFL.
  7. That is going to be a nice setup, in particular if you brace that box nice.
  8. so you would punch steve meade in the face? he does that all the time. what does steve meade have to do with anything? Complete misapplication and understanding, ie nothing.

Mark, I was going to check the math on the flash calc, but after getting the result below I didn't bother. Perhaps a little flaw in the code? http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...c=19714&hl= *knows Mark may not see this but Aaron will nothing a PM won't fix.
  13. Yup, it has everything to do with the sound.... x1000 The box is the key, but being smart about what you have is also. I have put a 1000w amp on a sub that shouldn't have more than 150w running to it with no problems, but I know what I am doing and listen for stress 100% of the time when it is playing. If you aren't capable of that you can surely hurt your gear quick.
  14. Stop using terminology and describe what you are looking for. Your request is nonsensical and cannot be answered.

  17. I'd also be really, really skeptical of an $85 box.
  18. I would do 1/0...4 gauge isn't enough for a 1500 and a front stage amp. If you can't afford a real amp new, buy a real amp used. No reason to ever look at the Hifo stuff.
  19. And what was wrong with the Kicker? Don't buy that Hifonics crap.
  20. It should be noticeably quieter at tuning. Not sure what you are asking.
  21. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Yep, certainly does... You can tell that the instant you drive anywhere near it. Not only that the restaurant choice there is real shady compared to the rest of KC.
  22. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Curious as to what you would use it for.

    I meant don't buy 2, but 3.
  24. Lucky SOB. No chit, German beer is delish. Plus you can drink a ton of it. Oh, and I plan on it. The Surly is good. Surprising since it is from BP too.
  25. You drive to cheeseland to buy beer? Or do you know something that I don't about where to buy Viking? Yes, but not regularly. The farm where I buy all my illegal dairy actually stocks their full line. They used to sell at a number of TC LQ's but they don't anymore because of the licensing fees. They make a cayanne pepper chocolate stout that's pretty interesting. Real beer has a nice layer of sediment on the bottom of the bottle. hehe... Yay for real dairy. My w is from a dairy farm, but it is near Sauk Center and a bit far to drive for milk.
