Note on the spacing above. My tomatoes will be done in an offshoot of the main system. ie, their own bucket perhaps even kratky on the side due to the extra spacing that is needed.

I am rather close to ordering lights. Here is the planting I had planned on, I have this as an 8" spacing but this is with 6". With 6" center to center on the 3" net cups it is 33 plants in just under 11sq ft. 21" x 72". Currently the plan is to build it as an ebb & flow. If I want to change to NFT I will change adapt the drain height at the end and tip the channels so it runs down hill. Figure it will allow both with just a simple spacer on the fixture to hold the channels. Going to use 6' x 4" fence posts from HD so that they are square to prevent overfill and make sealing all the fittings easier. Next post will link the lights based on your recommendations. Would love feedback.

First step is to figure out how big of a box you can fit and your limitations there. Until then it is hard to shop. Time to mock up what you think you can fit, then we can help make sure what you shop for does the most it can for your space.

I would say the first step is to understand exactly what all enclosures do. Designing a driver before that would be horribly backwards. Read Vance Dickason's book until you understand it and follow the equations clearly. At that point, you can start a design but expect some iterations before it has any value. Or just sell your first design by slapping random components together and celebrate the skarbage you put together.

Drivers with a pro audio lean do not work in a 2 way. Period. Zero exceptions. Efficiency and wide frequency response do not go hand in hand. Would be better to make a thread than to ask in a thread from 16, but kudos to you for searching first instead of just asking the same question that gets asked over and over again...all because of some misinformation elsewhere in the mobile audio world. That being said, first step is to understand your goals and to reset them. There is no 2 way that will play to 100hz at the level your SA-12 can. Not even close. Of course if you had that as a set you probably wouldn't love it anyways. Next step is to understand what you have for processing, background and what all you are contemplating to help the overall installation. Experience you have with anything and like/dislike would also help.
