Trep's 1999 F150 Ford Single Cab Truck
Oh, and I now like your choices. It is going to be a huge upgrade

Trep's 1999 F150 Ford Single Cab Truck
Whew, big upgrade only going with one set of components. The 5x7's would be a waste of your money...glad you came to that conclusion before I had to talk you into it. Nice choice on stepping up to the Sundown too, sell that Profile before it isn't worth anything

Later this week I should get to see it first hand

What will I need to run midbass drivers?
You might be able to get away with the 800 only but it will depend a lot on your install and amplifiers. It wouldn't be ideal, but there are definitely ways to make it work.

I had a couple on tap with dinner tonight.

RCA cables for amps
If it has a good connector, is shielded, has decent strain relief and is well built well then a cable is a cable at that point. It is definitely not something I'd spend a lot of dough on. For convenience sake and the fact that the prices are reasonable I am a fan of Knu.

Indeed you can use the 800 to bandpass the SLS's and HP the 720 set, while I'd normally recommend much more of a dedicated midrange driver than the mid on the 720 to go with the SLS it will get you buy for a while.

Cadillac attack ran stock springs as well. Amazing considering what she could do.

It's tough to do, but don't sweat it too much, man. Go hang out w/ your friends and have fun (and, by fun, I don't mean going to bars, clubs, strippers, etc.) and just take your mind off of the situation. Give her the space she needs to work things out and enjoy your freedom while she does. In fact, I'd say give her TOO much space if you do anything else it will push her further away.

I think the Schwartz '83 has been autocrossed And was fast as hell, he sold it for a dime on Ebay last year as well. I think he told me $6k. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't at least in Rochester, he normally comes out to the MN shows. damn that's cheap for that car The engine is worth 3x that Got any pics of the car ? I don't, but Jeff does. http://www.schwartzperformance.com/cadillac.htm

Summer is a pretty ridiculous time to do anything, but since Tom was going to be in town I thought we should try. No worries mang.

Damping Factor/Slew Rate/Muddy Sound Question
Offboard procs start around $300. There is cheaper, but not with nearly the flexibility. Either get a headunit that can do what you want or pony up for the extra proc. Is 3" in depth all you can muster? Is that with the mounting baffle?

Depends on your tastes, it would make me sick at 35hz but you may not like the lack of extra peak (or boom) that you'd get if you tuned all the way up at 35hz- Midbass -----Metal
Personally I'd tune around 28-30hz, oh hell I'd run it sealed or IB. You won't need to tune high at all with real midbasses.- Welcome to the IHoP
Yep, I'll just be following the route http://krang.hotrod.com/powertour/hrpt_200..._directions.pdf Are you going to Madison then as well? I think the meet has dwindled into a free place for Tom to stay in Minny and that is about it- Welcome to the IHoP

That JBL will do power so if you do math right and have everything in a decent box, setting your gains with the DMM won't kill anything. Make sure that he isn't dumb about anything though...and that amp won't like .5ohm- Welcome to the IHoP
It's cool. It just seemed like an easy solution. The whole Home audio amp thing is driving me nuts. It's a whole new ball-field. I think I might just stick with car audio. So much less confusing to me. They aren't the best for being near walls and that means ceilings as well.- Welcome to the IHoP
Ohms is resistance, you need to measure impedance albeit in this case they should be close enough. Was Kent's explanation enough? What amp is it? Depending you may want to be conservative on the volts if you have to use a DMM. - ported box
