Want to go Active with US Amps AX5600 5ch...questions.
while i am not a fan of the x-overs on the amp it does give you some flexibility if you have some type of processing on your HU. i have the AXTU4360 and i use an RF 360.2 for all my processing. i am not familiar with your HU, but if you have processing on board then you are in business. you can use the amps x-over for bandpass on the mids. I guess a Mod merged my two threads..and I can't edit my original posts. Oh well. Anyways, it wasn't the mids I was worried about as I understand how to bandpass them with the Xovers on the amp OR the HU. It is the tweeters I am worried about since the Front channels Xover points are from 50-500hz, but this amp has a switch on it to be usable in a 3-way active set-up. I don't understand HOW with those crossover points... Why aren't you using your h/u for the tweeters crossover anyways??

BTL questions
I'd like to see how you are going to get 18-20 (external dim) cubic feet in the trunk of that car...regrettably it isn't really possible. You have two choices: Lose the back seat or part of it, or sell your drivers and get something else. Also, as stated $800 isn't going to cut the mustard to power those. That will barely cover what you need to do on the electrical side to support them. Get ready to at least double that number, but you will probably even need more yet. Then once you add the custom work to your seat and back area, you are going to need even more cash.

In particular when you figure the dollars into it.

I'd probably not use the Seas for just a mb, but I wouldn't use the L8 then either. Something about playing an octave and a half doesn't make me want to splurge that far. what would you start to look at then? 8" is definitely the largest i can fit and even that will take some work. i'm sure i can get the L8s to dip down to 30hz with quite a bit of authority in the doors which would definitely ease my sub troubles. How deep? Personally I'd take the SLS over the Seas for MB only duties.

Best sub for under 200?
There is a used Icon in that price range in the classifieds.

I've been two lazy to try, but am interested in the answer. In particular if it involves RG6 cable since I ran a bunch of it in my house for that reason...

Hitting The Lows
other than the enclosure it is in, what do you think determines how low it can play??? Pretty much 90% enclosure, but really YOU aren't interested in lows. You are interested in rap which ISN'T low. Get the BL.

- Tweets and X over to go with My Poly Mids
Then you should buy MB Quart mids, that crossover will NOT work. It would 1000% defeat the purpose of running the Poly's.- Welcome to the IHoP
Lutheran? Yep. No party afterwards?? Normally the L's put some down.- 6k RMS, which subs to get?
Seems like a really logical use of a few hundred dollars. **yes, I being sarcastic- pics of my kicks!!!
kicker 5.25 comp set I saw that in the sig, but am having a hard time with it as the tweeter is not something I would consider soothing.- SAX 100.2 bridging

What is going in them?- time to upgrade highs
the jl coax that are in it now are junk. the surround on one is torn about 1/3 of the way around it and the other side sounds blown. all it does is pop and crack.... or else i would try and work with what i have. i did see @ an online site cdt has the cl-s60a comps on sale for 99.99 good price? worth it? they also have the upgraded tw-24 tweet with it for a few dollars more...... I guess that answer is an obvious no?- 6k RMS, which subs to get?
Let me get this straight, you are buying subs because you "want to do a hair trick"? The compensating has to stop- Whats the best sub out there at the moment.
:( The funny part is, it is so install dependent and from your post I can surely expect you to fail a bit at that portion. *I do realize that isn't funny to you.- Welcome to the IHoP
