How does a sub play 10 hz when..
They shut off the subsonic and then play tones. Excursion greatly increases below box tuning potentially damaging a driver which is why you have a subsonic in the first place. Sort of a misnomer anyways since you can hear below the subsonic, but either way it is a cheating way to get lots of excursion with next to no power. One more reason why subwoofer videos are stupid.

All of the music in the house (except Cable TV music) is on the pc only. Did you set it up for every room? I am thinking about piping the sound to cheep satelite pc's in the rooms I will have audio and integrating sound into those rooms, and I'm looking for different ideas on how to do it. I have half of the wires pulled, but am waiting for ceiling speakers for the living room, dining room, master & master bath before finishing. Do you use an independant source for each room? I'm thinking about putting up a "station"(read super cheep PC to play music only) in each room so that different rooms can pull different audio from the main HT pc/server. Then I woould use a stand alone amp and pair of speakers in every room. I haven't bought the control system yet, but will probably buy this: http://www.htd.com/whole-house-audio/midle...34Pa38Ta38Rbhj0 It allows the use of external amplifiers, is computer controllable (convenient when that is your source), and has multiple inputs/zones. I really only need two zones, but this will allow that completely and it is rather modestly priced.

Nope. First you'd have to define volume and then measure the weight. Personally of course I try to use whole spices whenever I can and grind for each use, but of course there are many things you cannot buy that way.

Sound Transmission Loss- LL/LLP
Must be a different Vertex, so no that's not me. Do you have any samples SSA members could try out? It is what I will be using on my next car...and first hand should see Dr. D's before then.

you prefer the 80's look of air shocks and 10" wide Cragars? Lol, no. I just like a full wheel well and if that means that you have to roll, roll away

Unless of course it is a sealed volume and you know the pressure drop over time.
-
Welcome to the IHoP
No, you would need to have two different cross sectional areas and pressure in each of them.

Looks like you just copied an pasted the data from my website???? Where are Anthony's figures??? Also, STC and STL are not exactly the same thing. John Vertex Mobile Sound Products Man, I missed the update on where he got them. It looks to me like if he got them from SS that Ant copied it from you.

active setup with JVC AVX-1
You can use an offboard processor, but it is much easier and simpler to integrate with a headunit controlled setup. The cheapest way would be with a used H/u.

I'd say in particular for baking as the amounts are much more critical then.

Kosher salt is really just pure salt, but typically Diamond Crystal will need 2tbsp to weigh the same as 1tbsp of table salt. Ie the grains are that much bigger that it takes more volume to be the same amount of salt. For the fries any salt is fine, but I pretty much only have sea or kosher and if I am going to make something much smaller than table salt grains (so it sticks nice) I am going to use kosher since it is cheap. Warning, Morton Kosher salt is only about 125%-150% so you only need >1.5tbsp to be 1tbsp of normal salt. Chefs will always choose the Diamond Crystal for that reason, in particular when salting meats. Kosher is just a name, there is no religious connotations it is just "pure" salt.

Originally when I bought my bike I looked at one since I thought they were pretty neat...until I sat on it. You have seen the shriners ride those mini-bikes? Sort of how I felt.

Welcome to the IHoP
NO. Don't soak in oil they will be teh greasy. You soak fries in sugar water. Fry once at 360, and then let dry (good time to freeze actually) and then fry again at 375. If the oil temperature drops below 350 you are going to have grease bombs and not fried potatoes. The instant they are out of the fryer it is time to season, usually this means salt. Personally I grind kosher salt in a coffee/spice grinder so it is more fine and then sprinkle with my fingers. Hrmm. How much sugar to water? Not a ton of sugar, just enough to sweeten the water a bit as it will help the browning process. I don't measure anything but somewhere around a couple tablespoons per .5 gal.

Those are little bikes, good for the first time out but I look absurd on one. *cough* i'm a foot shorter than you, and mom checks in at 5' nuthin it is smaller than i'd want to ride once i learn, but until then it should be fine. Sorry, I meant that it was a good choice. I didn't mean to say first time out, but first bike. She will fit fine on it and it will be easier for you to learn to ride on.

Me too Although mine will be short as I cannot catch bass until Saturday. I suppose I will throw for some pike though as at this time of the year they are rather fun. The main lake is up to 59 degrees, normally bass opener is after spawn...obviously not this year although there are bays where it will be warmer.
