Welcome to the IHoP
crap, I go through that after MN to KS Wouldn't you go down to Okie and over to AZ? Google maps says the fastest way is MN to Omaha to Denver to Albuquerque to AZ, and I have family in Denver so it just makes sense to stop there. It's only a bit out of the way to go through Kansas instead of Nebraska on my way to Denver. I would believe that to be the fastest, however, once in Manhattan I think going South would be; however, family and a free place to stay trumps fastest.

so would it be a bad idea to speed through that area? Just be really careful around Des Moines, the rest of the way you can boogie.

Sort of the same. Throw in North Dakota & Iowa and you have the plains....so exciting. Although the good news is you can see radar traps miles ahead.

I love those wheels! If they didn't have that damn "SRT" on them, they'd be on my Cobra. There are repo's available now, but I don't think your bolt spacing was taken into account. Some idiot made knockoff's in 20's & 22's Chrysler and Ford have the same bolt pattern save for a few different vehicles. This may be different though due to it being an SUV, which I didn't take into account. If it's a traditional Chrysler pattern, it'll fit. I do know the 300 rims won't fit on the Jeep, but I think its exclusively backspacing.

Midbass
Sealed can work, but a nice result is much harder to achieve and pretty much everyone that I have seen try to run a sealed enclosure on their doors ends up cutting out the back to improve the response. Other than the power handling it is really the best of both worlds for a midbass.

2way & 3way
Exactly why 2 way is better than 3 way for you...right now. Start out with some cheap-o drivers and try to make them sound good, SQ isn't about what you spend but how you integrate.

2way & 3way
If you are truly asking these questions, you really, really should start with a 2 way active and play with things first. Then contemplate the 3 way, otherwise it will most likely just sound worse than a set of comps.
