    Tom, your avatar is missing
  4. I wouldn't use automotive drivers, but pro audio ones. You will lose some of the ultra lows, but will get a lot more volume with less power. Definitely a reason why pro audio drivers exist and your application is perfect for them.
  5. You really have to stop staying stupid things And Kent, this hasn't turned into a bash LB thread but it is a stop him from puking out his mouth about the original topic which he seems to know nothing about. Amazing shame since he installs things so often So to clear things up, just because some retard blew a sub doesn't make the sub suck, it makes the retard that blew them suck. You cannot blindly say that all JL sucks since you have seen a few bad installs. They do have some products I don't like; however, they also have some super products as well. Your statement is sort of like someone hating on Sundown since they bought an SD-1 and applied 3kW to it for a competition and it blew, and then you reacting and saying Sundown is like poop. Obviously you wouldn't do that, but the analogy holds true. Seeing a w1 or lower end JL not doing what you think it should says NOTHING about the rest of the product line. So keep your biased, useless, uneducated, misapplied opinions to yourself...it is a rather childish way of forming opinions

ASSHOLE! How do you go from broke and no job to driving MY car?!!! Teach me!! Nice choice! I was just at the dealership Saturday looking at the new M3. I didn't like them in the photos I saw, but that thing is just sex in person. ONe of the salesmen even came out and started it up for me. 8K sounds fantastic! I love the sound of the high-revving, smaller displacement engines. Reminds me of the Formula 1 cars. I can't afford to go look at one....I know myself too well and really can't pull that loan right now. Oh I agree, New I cant afford. Use I can. And Ryan I agree again they are pure sex in person. I love the fact that they went with a small v8 this time around. They batter do it right before the 35mpg crap hits us. What saved me from distruction was end of year when they had me working 65+ hours a week. I basically paid everything off I could, didnt spend anything until I did. Now Im a float and able to throw into investments and savings again. Truck is so close to paid off and I want more room and somewhat better gas milage. I am afraid whether I can afford it or not what will happen. There is a huge difference between what the bank says is a reality and reality.

I can't imagine working for a firm like B Stearns, of course in particular now since I'd be recently broke.

  12. You really need to understand "significant digits" and how they apply to accuracy. Just because you have enough resolution to see a change does not mean that you are accurately measuring it. NOT EVEN CLOSE.
  13. Hey, someone who spells their name right /\

The interpretation is subjective, not the definition. SQ is accurately reproducing a recording.
