Welcome to the IHoP
Actually sounds like some subrogation firm, do you know who called? My wife works for one of the largest insurance subrogation firms if not the largest in the country.

500MHz instead of 350MHz baseline. It is just newer, considering it isn't much more dough I figure I should try to future proof as much as possible. One run of the Cat6 will be carrying hi-def video so in my book getting as much bandwidth as possible makes sense. Perhaps I am wasting $15 but wtf cares about $15.

The RG6 is for analog tv repeating if necessary as well as RCA's to allow Ipod connections in different locations or of course any other component. Networked PC in the basement will be the source...or perhaps one right next to the main tv in the house.

My shopping cart: $356, but should transform the house. Cat 6 UTP Solid 500MHz 24AWG 1000FT Bulk Cable - Black $115.00 1000ft RG6 Cable w/Single Quad Shield (BLACK) $70.00 14AWG CL2 Rated 4-Conductor Loud Speaker Cable - 250ft (For In-Wall Installation) $105.00 12AWG CL2 Rated 4-Conductor Loud Speaker Cable - 100ft (For In-Wall Installation) $66.00 *please con me into something else. At the moment, I am going to get a new system from HTD since it allows off board amps. That way all of my components can be located in the basement and all the tv's in the house will change channel at the same time and all the speakers in every room will as well. Some of the rooms (ie kitchen, dining) will get some in ceiling speakers whether I build them or buy them is tbd.

250ft of 14/4 cable for $105 Anyone have a better idea for my whole house audio project? Cheaper or not much more and better are both viable. I will step up to 12ga for my mains as the run is around 50ft. http://www.monoprice.com/products/product....=1&format=2

Gauges aren't that hard to change. The new G8 is coming in at 29k, too bad you need a car now as that one sounds like fun for the money. In particular when I expect 1 year old ones with 20k miles to go for well under $20k.

eDead
Considering the history I'd run like hell from the edead.
