While I think it is absurd to run that many drivers, you have plenty of processing available so use your ear. Start really conservative and change the slope and frequency until it blends well. If you are going to use them you might as run all active though, but then you might as well get some real drivers.

Doesn't matter what it is as you can't just replace it with a driver that you think fits that range anyways. You need to get two identical drivers and since all crossovers are custom it really should be the exact driver that the crossover was designed for and nothing else.

You missed my within reason which was to keep the Kraco/Rainbow comparison away. You do need to start with realistic drivers, but that choice is typically pretty personal. So as to your compromise, sure there are ways but without pictures and documentation on the space you have it is pretty hard to recommend anything. So far the only thing you have told us that you don't like about your two way is that there is still "something" lacking that makes it perfect to your taste. A 3 way is NOT a solution for this, but tuning is. If you were more specific and described what it is that is lacking then we could help.
