3> 5 in snow, but both need snowshoes.

I found the rest as well, but am feeling lazy and haven't rehosted them. If there is something you need, hollar. The SLS 7 would be another "easy" option.
  4. How has business been since I visited?
  5. I'd lean on the Alpine, but Helotaxi is rather right. Depending on what you already have and your budget the decision will get easier.
  6. You should really listen to some things before investing money into your audio. Otherwise it is just a crapshoot. Grab some of your own music and go speaker shopping over the next couple of days and let us know what you liked and didn't. Keep it reasonable and look at speaker pairs in the range of $400-$1200 or so as the differences won't be so subtle. Again the budget you have defined is for exactly what? I'd still like to see the mounting locations as I have never been in a 2000 Accord...
  7. We can help with the drivers, but really need to know your mounting locations, crossover points that are available, budget, installation skills, listening preferences and so on. Yep, you are going to lose your rears, but really you should consider that a good thing.
  8. Better is a subjective term.... You could do external ports and invert the sub to maximize your space.

It can, but it isn't super easy. The door card needs to be modified, but that isn't the biggest deal. As you can see from the pics on mine that a 7" driver is about the most you can cosmetically hide behind the stock door. If you are lazy, a pair of Adire Extremis 7's would fill in for the 8's fairly well.

    Especially if you bought here.
  11. So what exactly do you need to buy with the g... What kind of car is it? You gave me general mounting locations, but they aren't specific. Are the pillar mounted tweeters stock? Are you custom aiming... Any home audio speakers you like if you haven't heard car audio ones?
  12. Your description of what you have done so far is scaring me. Phrases like " and when i pulled out the fuse in it and it shot some sparks." "maybe there is a ground wire in the back of the h/u isnt grounded" "if i recall right. i messed with the gains and still....the led saying whether or not it has power didnt light up at all. any help?" You shouldn't create sparks There is a ground wire and it is very important, to top it off the stock one sucks and shouldn't be used. Messing with gains is not an appropriate installation technique. If you aren't sure of what you are doing in the first place you should do some reading and asking and not messing. Without some more details it isn't going to be so easy to help you. Give us a layout of what is connected to what and how. As you think about it use a DMM and make sure that you are getting voltage at all appropriate locations and then let us know if it still isn't on. *I assume that you have at least 5 wires connected to your amp. 1- power, 2-ground, 3-remote turn on, 4-left rca, 5-right rca:: also I assume you have checked your fuses as well Was this amp new or is it possibly dead?
  13. An amp that does power is an amp that does power and that should be your primary concern. Your install, driver choice, and processing will make WAY, WAY more difference than the subtleties between amps.
  14. What does the grand have to cover? Just h/u and speakers? Where are your mounting locations, what skill range are you, what are your listening preferences. What amps are you using....help us help you.

Pretty easy when you are trying to do something that was planned in metric and then having to convert to use standard products to follow them. *hates the non-metric bullshit here

Has to tow the sleds and boat though. Plus his lease car is an A6 S line so I don't think he'd spring for that for me if he didn't for himself.

I wouldn't mind a diesel, but if I get one it will probably be the Q7 v12. Well me too mister fancy pants. I was more thinking of something I could afford now for a daily tank. I am only interested if I can convince my boss that he should pay for it. He believes in company cars and his favorite make is Audi so it sort of pushes all his buttons. Personally they are way too much money for my blood otherwise, I like depreciated stuff not new stuff.

    Ergonomic style FTW.

Not so cheap for a laptop. I do have about 10 extra keyboards laying around though that I can plug in, but it won't help me when I travel.
  22. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
had to change computers as that really sucked.
  23. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
That one I didn't try. I think I have it working a little better now. Feels really weird with no rebound thoug.
  24. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
It does work though, but doesn't rebound and regularly sticks it feels really weird. Fucking laptop too so changing it won't be that fun.
