Try playing test tones and see at what frequency it is audible lower. Luckily that should be about your 3dB point and also the point that the system starts its rolloff. At that point you can check with the LOC manufacturer and see if it correlates to their rolloff or if it is headunit induced. *assumes that your box is okay and not the cause

All depends on your goals. Personally of course the sealed 15 is the way I'd lean, but you might be looking for something else.

Not only is every vehicle different, but every driver. There are no rules that you have to follow, it really has to be up to your ears. Trying different aimings for hours and hours is the only real way to get it right.

I have an A+ human event at least once a day. How did you like C-A Engineering? I ask because that is sort of what I am doing now. It was pretty interesting. Way better than just plugging numbers into equations. Did they require to write calculation scripts? no... We used Ansys Workbench and IDEAS to model stuff Have not used those before. Ansys & Ideas are the two biggest, for the past years everything I have sold can be integrated with both packages. What they model, we verify and fix since models are always approximations and usually shitty ones at that.
