eff working, I am going up North. Time to put some time on the sled.
  2. That is about as funny as the original post.
  3. Try playing test tones and see at what frequency it is audible lower. Luckily that should be about your 3dB point and also the point that the system starts its rolloff. At that point you can check with the LOC manufacturer and see if it correlates to their rolloff or if it is headunit induced. *assumes that your box is okay and not the cause
  4. All depends on your goals. Personally of course the sealed 15 is the way I'd lean, but you might be looking for something else.

Thanks for the link, Steve has already done a few though at least it IIRC from reading lots of posts. I didn't realize they were smaller, but while those guys whine about the first gear I love it as it will allow me to run a really docile rear end and still have all the RPM's necessary to launch effectively.

  18. wirebrush, if you are lazy get one for a drill.
  19. As stated before rears are a waste of money, put your budget in the fronts instead.
  20. I'd much, much rather have the Icons than the Eclipse. Especially considering install is the most important thing and now that you have a custom box for them you really should just use it.
  21. woah, woah, woah. 6.5's smoke 5x7's all day everyday. I thought we had this discussion before. You need to really nail down your front stage first before recommending rear fill, I am sure as soon as you do you will no longer feel it necessary at all to have anything back there.

Microwave Cooking is an oxymoron. <-- doesn't own a microwave
  23. Not only is every vehicle different, but every driver. There are no rules that you have to follow, it really has to be up to your ears. Trying different aimings for hours and hours is the only real way to get it right.

I have an A+ human event at least once a day. How did you like C-A Engineering? I ask because that is sort of what I am doing now. It was pretty interesting. Way better than just plugging numbers into equations. Did they require to write calculation scripts? no... We used Ansys Workbench and IDEAS to model stuff Have not used those before. Ansys & Ideas are the two biggest, for the past years everything I have sold can be integrated with both packages. What they model, we verify and fix since models are always approximations and usually shitty ones at that.
