You'd say the quality of their internals is good, though? The guy I bought my desktop from had a 40GB Barracuda in it, never really used it since my main drive now is a 250gig WD with XP... By far the best. You name a big brand, I have been in their R&D facilities and Seagate's trumps them all by a lot.

I think in the years you are looking the LX and interceptor have pretty much the exact same stuff. For the sake of not having something that was beat on, I'd get the LX. Both are easily good for another 100k, but do beware the transmissions while they last twice as long as the GM crap they still tend to get abused in those things and can go out. The interior should be a lot nicer on the LX...Those cars are pretty much bulletproof and have surprisingly good gas mileage. I rented one a few weeks ago and actually averaged over 30 on the highway. I wouldn't expect that with either of those, but nonetheless for having a wondo-boatlike ride they do pretty damn well.

They make the biggest difference by far. Perhaps not as extreme on your truck as say my car, but that is the best way to improve your handling.

Ah, the time when you start to look at the label and recording techniques when shopping for music. I remember when those days started. Classical music is a pretty broad genre, sort of like saying hey I like rock and roll now can someone recommend where I can buy some high quality recorded rock? i.e. there are a million options and they aren't very hard to find as classical listeners are usually about as anal retentive as any genre. It comes down to what you are looking for and how much you plan on getting into it.
