Fuck that. They just need to up their displacements accordingly with GM. It's big, it's heavy, it isn't super efficient, and it's super expensive to manufacture. The other problem is they just didn't keep to plans very well in the whole "mod" portion of it. Technologically it smokes the LS and Hemi's but nothing about it makes it easy to swap into another vehicle. Personally I think pushrods are a joke.

I would say it the other way around, it would seem very odd to me to have rear speakers. Most people have a confused idea of a car stereo since manufacturers have been putting larger drivers in the rear for years. The only reason is that it is cheap to put something larger in the rear parcel shelf. Then the normal Joe buys a car and fades it to the back since those are "better" speakers and starts to like his music all backwards. Using just 2 speakers for home theater would you ever setup your TV so that it is in front of you and the speakers are behind you? That is what rear speakers sound like in a car.

They are really cutting corners, but I guess if you are that upside down with your employee pay you have to be. With health insurance and supporting pensions GM spends more than $25 more per hour on their employees than Honda or any of the other imports being made here in the US. They have cut quality so damn far to stay competitive it is fucking retarded. That's why you stick to the good stuff, pre-'72 Back then they had 60% of the market and could easily afford to pay their employees, but then the decided to be the cheapest on the block and slowly but surely lost market share and are now stuck making crap.

The Daytons can play that low, but they will surely need some serious installation help and potentially some eq off the upper end to bring everything into where it needs to be. I won't say that is their strength though.

actually it isn't slow on the load time it is from the time I hit the reply button until the screen flashes it is slow. Almost like it has to decide whether to accept the post or not. It didn't do that until a few weeks ago. Once the page starts to come up it is nearly instantaneous, but I do have some bandwidth
