I went and chased Brown's yesterday and learned a valuable lesson. 100deg heat, beating sun, and a storm front = no big bites. I saw at least 200 fish, but couldn't get anything over 8" to take a fly. Started out throwing dries and no surface activity (duh), went to sub surface and could hit fish in the face with my whole gamut of flies and nothing would bite. Occasionally a little flash would cause the small ones to run out and grab it. Still a lot of fun to be in a sub 50deg river when its that hot out, especially when my waders are actually just a pair of keen sandals. Good luck with the Tarpon mang!

If you don't use any form of dampening you should really spend way less money on your gear as you are sort of throwing money out the window. In particular an 02 civic is a rattletrap and needs serious help.

Deadening the doors is by far the most important, but save some money instead of Dynamat use Raamaudio Raamat or Second Skin.

I flat out won't ever own one. If I got one free, I'd sell it ASAP.

Wallmart. Buy a really cheap camping mattress that says "closed cell foam" on the packaging. Should cost you about $10. gracias, i think i shall try Target first though, it's closer and it's not Walmart They don't have them piss I should have used the words didn't as I haven't looked in at least 2 years. I've heard SLC's go deeper than that in Ramos' install Yes but Ramos isn't a basshead and there was no mention of deadening in the list of equipment above, so I will repeat the statement that you just quoted me on.
