It is going to depend on how the original was recorded, but I'd lump all digital together with obviously the highest bit rate the highest out of the digital world. If the original was digital this would be best, otherwise if it were analog I'd plop the R2R and Vinyl above the digital sources which eventually bleed to the other antiquated analog storage medias.

I dunno, is there anybody who has just tested the z1 and the 1500 strapped without actually owning them? because the results may be a little biased if you know anything about testing at all of course the results are biased, there are no standards that are worth a chit in this industry. Either way the kicker is a good amp and the sundown is rock solid. If I were a betting man, I'd sure bet that bang for the buck you are going to really win on the Sundown though.
