I don't think a 4" port is anywhere near enough for an Rli 8. If you think differently you are nuts. I have nearly 2x that with my Rli8 and can still hear it huff a bit. edit: I mistyped the first sentence, it was supposed to say Rlp. The second half holds true however

Then you need to adjust your budget. To get great sound out of that car you are going to have to spend more on the installation than the speakers.

As others have alluded to here, it would be a heck of a lot more effective to give your power requirements and budget than to have us comment on amps. IMO you'd pretty much be a tool for buying any of those brands as for less/equal money you can get a FAR superior amp used.

When are you going to be out there? I'll be at QSC on the 9th which is fairly close. They are letting me in to take a photo tour. There is a kick ass Mexican food joint on PCH in Laguna. Can't remember the name but it is right above an Italian restuarant and visible from the street. Best salsa I have ever had in my life and I grew up on the stuff. I've eaten there. Had one of the two house specialties as it is one of my favorite home mexican dishes to make. Pollo en Pipian Verde. Good stuff. Plus the view from up above the street isn't so bad either I will be out the week of June 25-29th.
