I am sure that is why the guy who just sold me my Eclipse 8454 sold it. It has an unfaded sub out. IMO perfect as I never adjust it. In your case though doesn't your amp have a remote sub level pot? To me that would be the best & fastest way to change the level. Negotiating in a h/u menu to quickly turn down a substage or dial it in isn't the most convenient way. Your other option would be to scrap your overpowering substage and get one that matches your front stage

Even if it does take drilling and rewiring, just keep the stock wires and it will be easy to go back. It isn't like they are going to take the door skins off and say you have to pay for the teeny screw holes you put in.

Well the 8454 works 100% (I didn't check the internal amp because I could care less about it). I sent an email off to the seller and left him a voicemail saying he left the cage and trim ring off. We shall see what happens. I sure hope he actually has it otherwise...at least he knows I know his home phone, address, cell phone, email, and where he works Plugged it in to the PA5532 and dropped it in the car real fast to test the headunit. Started to turn up the volume and it sounded like chit. Then I realized that I had the 880 connected to the amp before and hadn't reset the gains. Lol. With the Eclipse on an Eclipse amp the gain setting is easy. Just turn it all the way down

Gonna be real close to where we went snowmobiling this winter. The forest is on fire right now and we had to change our launch point. The end of the Gun Flint trail at Seagull lake is where we were supposed to launch, but considering the sites are no longer there and on fire we decided to go elsewhere.
