  1. Same reason you need a fuse anywhere, but of course they don't use one at the factory so if you are good with your wiring you can get away without it.

    Good point, but I am a sales guy and the challenge to me is the fun part. Plus I pay for all of our living expenses and we save her income. Makes it easy for me to rationalize spending any extra I have on anything I want.
