Welcome to the IHoP
I am jealous, I'd like to be home. At least I managed to get them to put me in a real hotel. 5 star FTW. Time to go bug the staff to do stuff for me....

Scratch the last one, THIS IS MY NEXT CAR
I've driven the AMG version and the SRT-10 truck. The steering in the truck is way too touchy but I'd almost say the opposite about the AMG. Felt a little distanced from the road for my tastes. That and the sloped roof makes us taller fools not feel like you can see anything. My Uncle actually hated the AMG so much he only kept it for 3 weeks. Next drive of his I get to take is in an 07 S63 AMG. :woof:

polyfil in doors or panels?
That is a bit too much IMO.

Need serious help with frequency cutoffs
You are right on the mb/mr and I am too lazy to look for specs on your speakers but being active your ear in your installation is a better judge anyway.

Welcome to the IHoP
Nope, I think Brunswick bought them so they are a different company now.

Welcome to the IHoP
Formula makes all sorts of boats, mostly high performance hulls but that looks like a POS. OMC - Outboard Motor Company (read Johson/Evinrude but old school, a few years back they were bought by Bombadier)

Welcome to the IHoP
Better be in pristine condition to be that old, and asking that kind of money. I have seen chriscraft's go for that kind of money. My dad's 29' chriscraft he just bought was $3500 in excelent condition. I might get some pictures one of these days. Where do you think i should start talking to him at. I dont plan on paying any more than $1300 even with a newer motor and decent trailer. For a boat that old you are only paying for the motor so if you don't know what it is it is really hard to help.

Welcome to the IHoP
Strange to be alone here at 1 am, but mostly because that isn't what time it is anywhere else.

Chronic heartburn
I don't medicate either, but it cripples him and he pretty much has no other option.

polyfil in doors or panels?
The structure is more important than the thickness since you can layer. IMO either would be better than polyfill. What are the products pictured above?

Chronic heartburn
My bud has that problem and swears by Prilosec.

Awesome track race
Watching the 5 loose it arse on the turns compared to the others makes you wonder a bit, thats for sure. I am not surprised how it pulled away on the straights but it ain't exactly a light and nimble ride....

I'd run the mb as low as they can go. If the installation is such that you can run them all the way down it will be fine, if not go ahead and notch them up. I haven't used those focals, but would imagine that I would try to start cutting off the mb in the 200-600 range. Play around with the mr alone and see with what power it starts to distort and cross them a bit higher. This will let you know how high to run the mb.

Welcome to the IHoP
that doesn't make me happy.

Welcome to the IHoP
You just need a real truck. I used to have a straight six Ford with the granny gear and that thing would pull anything out of the water. I used to get laughed at using a 6 banger to pull a 15,000lb boat until everyone realized it has more torque and yanking power than most big diesels. Manual tranny ftw on that beyotch.

The james is pretty fun sometimes too . Just the past couple of years the fish size has been down . Numbers are through the roof but no size to them . With the new river you have that occasional musky bite when your least expecting it . hook into one of those monsters and it will change your whole outlook on freshwater fishing rather quickly I love Muskie fishing, but afterwards you need at least 3 advil. It is brutal on your body. What do you use to actually try and catch the musky ? I have caught several, none on purpose . And what they bit was, and is illegal to use for bait around here On a similar fish (ie. The Northern Pike) we use other small fish, chunks opf steak still bloody, worms, and huge assed lures..........thats just me though. J I don't use live or dead bait for fishing for anything. Artificials only. For Muskies it is even more important since a really good population density on a lake is 1 per acre. I don't want to ever deep hook one. For Northerns a stinky bait does work well though. I use a lot of topwater baits, crank baits, bucktails, spoons, and spinnerbaits. At the beginning of the year you can get away with little 4oz cranks but by fall 8-10oz's are great. Throwing things that weigh that much and cranking back all day is tough though. Typically the baits I throw are about the size of a .75 to 2lb walleye. I have had better luck with the longer skinny baits. I'd recommend by one of everything you might use in black first as they seem to like it the best. Adding a little bit of blue or orange is okay too. If you want to use live bait and cheat a bit. I'd use two rods. Throw a big fast moving bait above and just put the other rod in a holder off the back of the boat with a 12-16" sucker minnow on it. Muskies are notoriously curious and will follow without eating regularly, to lure them into attacking a bair you should always pull it in a figure 8 a few times boatside. I'd guess nearly half of the muskies I have hooked have hit during the figure 8 and not the retrieve. I could go on....

I know you didn't invite me this time, but you did a while ago. Seeing the 6.15 comment though expedited it happening.

good amp to power my speaks?
You made me think of buying it...but I don't need it. Seems like a good deal.

polyfil in doors or panels?
It will alter the path of some of the reflected waves a bit, which may clean up the response a little perhaps, but a foam will work better for doing that. Polyfill is not all that great as an acoustic damper so it won't really ake your rig that much quieter. The other generic use of polyfill is to make a space "feel" larger to a speaker but making something that is assumed infinetely large, larger isn't possible.
