I can't answer on how the Aura's take porting, but I'd just add a little sub setup with it and call it sweet. Would be pretty easy to change later if you wanted more output.

These are interesting for just that. I've thought about building a set because they look cool and are already optimized as near field monitors. Thanks for the replies.... any pros and cons wiring these subs on seperate channels Vs. bridged to mono? Whatever is easiest to get the right power to them with your amps would be fine. Just don't run a 2ohm stable amp at 1ohm and expect anything to last long.
