I feel your pain. My hands are frozen and I can do no more. 45 ain't bad, but when the wind is gusting around 35MPH, it get's chilly quick. Worst part of my day, I had to spend 2 hours cleaning and condensing my glue bottles because the stuff was so dried and clunked up in the applicator tips, it wouldn't even flow. Piss. wind chill was 32 here, 36 without wind though, my install is beyond ghetto, and i have no sound from my right tweet fudge it. i hope its an rca that came unplugged or something like that, if not i swear i'm selling everything, and i'm not even close to joking Normally my job or some of our Canadian friends to complain about the weather, but it was 60 here and is going up to 70 by Monday. Beautiful and sunny!

Basically to take it down to Tom's Physics class level, you WANT Constructive interference to be at where the mic is and all the deconstructive elsewhere. Once you know the resonant frequency of your cab, you will know the wavelength of that resonance and having the mic position be at a location where a peak in the wave lengths will meet. Of course, the theory breaks down in that you cannot completely predict all of the reflections and such, but as long as your fundamental is close to being on you should have a maxima at your acoustic field there. Oh that and there really shouldn't be much destructive since the wavelengths are longer than your cab. I'd play around with a mic and an oscilloscope once you have located your box and see if you can improve things more.

It would definetely be interested to run a 2 way with an 8 and still hold staging setup in an easy way. Of course as long as it isn't a large compromise to do it.

Well, after all the work on my brakes and such I lost my clutch in the Harley Davidson parking lot yesterday. Luckily I had 3/4 tank of gas so I only stopped once on my way home to fill up. Had to detour to some country roads off the interstate to avoid stoplights as she flat out won't go into first while running (of course without making some NASTY noises). Powershifted my way hom 350miles, but the car is safely in the garage. DAMNIT I WANT A LIFT!!!!
