i actually figure i'll make the port just a tad longer just in case, maybe 2", that should help with bracing and the .1 dispacement from the woofer. I WOULD ditch the labrynth, i do hate them, but i have a lot of width to work with and would rather it be wide than deep According to the pic you posted, you have plenty of room for the L without sacrificing depth, assuming the driver will have clearance on the rear. Keep in mind, your vent is going to displace some as well, not just the driver. You will end up with quite a bit less than 2.29 cubes. Making the vent longer will only compound this problem by taking up more space. sorry the 2.29 is after port dispacement, but not woofer. maybe i'll throw together an L-shape and see what it turns out like I got ya! You should be fine then. Frequency chance will be .8Hz at most and undetectable to the ear. Jim can hear it with his platinum ears.

When I used to store my other car, I found that a cover removal, half hour drive and a car wash really put me in the right mood.

Indeedy, and one with too much volume on the front of it. Adding a vent made it almost an IB or perhaps close enough. The pressure drop of the seat must be too much.

When they get here... Crossdrilled Zimmermans, Axxis Deluxe: since I am UBER SICK OF BRAKE DUST. My car is ridiculous currently, 10 miles and you have to clean the rims. Don't forget the cross-drilled brake lines to go with them... Had those in my old Subaru, didn't stop.

Terrible, being stuck in a tourist hell is awful. My grandma lived in Detoit Lakes which is where I spent my summers. Town of 7,500 people with 300,000+ tourist between 18-30 around the fourth. Was really fun and seriously sucked all at the same time. When I lived up in MA, I *hated* the fact that Martha's Vineyard was quickly becoming an extension of Long Island...used to go there in late September/early October for the striped bass/bluefish season. I wouldn't even want to imagine what it's like nowadays. Even going out to the NC coast, you have to go late enough in the season to avoid the asshat tourists from Virginia that come down because VA beach is overcrowded. The NC people all go to Myrtle Beach and other useless places, so finding relatively open spaces of coastline is still possible...if you have a 4wd and know where to go Stripers and blues are fun.
