We hit neg. that with windchill.

Is this worth it?
Or if it is real crappy that may not be enough. I had serious noise before the conditioner, but it was obvious why when I stuck a scope on my AC. After the conditioner it looks clean and nice, but I just have one of their hide behind the rack conditioners.

Battery Recommendations
Nope, but it looks generic enough like the Cabela's I posted earlier. Same technology and therefore probably manufacturer as well. I am guessing that batteries are sort of like antifreeze. A whole ton of brands and about 2 manufacturers or parts and subassemblies. Or in the case of af probably just one.

First Looks: Revamped RL-i 8" Driver
If I can get the sub to fit in my truck, I am going to have the port run completely out of the box under the rear seat. One long PVC tube, that way I can tell everyone I have a pipe organ in my truck.

What's the advantage with mid bass??
And of course, your car is a midbass generator driving down the road. If you look at road transmission through the doors and such of the car they are focused from 100Hz to 300Hz generically. Just to deal with the road noise you need extra oomph there and I am sure that the Kenwoods you have can be improved a lot by an upgrade. Moving up into a 7" or 8" driver will help a lot, but also require a bit of modification to your door as they will make the whole door panel pretty darn active. The other problem with 8's is finding a tweeter that can play low enough to go with it, or requiring that you go 3 way with a dedicated mid-range/mid-bass/tweeter combo. It can get as ridiculous as you want really, but the bottom line is a set of components or "separates" that have more midbass will really help out your system but will definetely require at least a 2 chn and all the way up to a 6 chn if you are running 3 ways in the front active. HU power isn't really power.....

Time to jump over the imbecile that is your boss and go to his. If this isn't pattern behavior for you, you will surely have grounds to sue for lost income. Of course, that is here in the mighty sue happy US but nonetheless tell that dude to grow up. Sucks you have to deal with that BS.

is it the motor specs? or the low tuning that is causeing such a long port? (maybe both?) Small box + Low tuning = One long-azz port

us amps XT-1600.2
Terrible, amazing what marketing people think....why don't they ask sales. Our company is the same way. Web eye sex that is super annoying for anyone trying to navigate. Guess that is what happens when our marketing guru is not the web savy. Can't wait to see the new site.

Maybe true, but his port length is about right. When I read it first I had to go back and model up a box, I used a slightly smaller box (per Mike's rec'd on the web) and had a slightly longer port ~106" so it should be right. One heck of a box tho.

Omega Midbass (22mm of xmax)
I don't need the anechoic for the laser work...full scanning vibrometer too. If you want to quantify break-up modes it will do time domain as well.

Going for 2 12s
Port it and then mount it on the outside of your car for everyones enjoyment, or just port it to kick up the db's on the inside for yourself.
