Crazy brits, tryin' to destroy a ol' TOyoTer and didn't even get one with the 22R which is indestructible. I almost didn't watch the end stunt cause I thought they were done, that would have been a shame.

They are supposed to be up for sale any moment. Are you going to notch out the gain at 5k'ish? I am thinking about those for my truck as well and go back and forth on what to pair them with. Do you know how high they can be crossed? I thought they couldn't be crossed that high, which deters me from buying them. Im thinking about the 7", so I can just plop em in in place of my extremis. We shall see. I have no experience with them at all, but am led to believe that just under 2k without a notch is just fine. I haven't spoken or heard of anyone running a filter on a pair, but being the breakup is at 5k ish you should be able to go higher if you knock down the peak a bit. Or design some seriously crazy sloped crossover.

pics of my 22's
Where are the tires?? Wow, they are thin. Did you have to upgrade your brakes to get the Jeep to stop with the extra weight?

Nice to check ye olde crossover points with. Does WinMLS allow you to use National Instrument cards? Not quit sure. It's not on the list of incompatible cards, so I would assume so. You can download the trial version of WinMLS and try it out first. Cool. My work PC can do FFT's and 1/24 Octaves, but I'd like to run an MLS excitation as well. It has an NI card with 20MHz of f. response and 24bits so it should work well.

Welcome to the IHoP
Ridiculous day. I changed 17 doorknobs in my house. Old ones were rotten copper chit from the 70's, couldn't handle it anymore but takes frickin' forever to do it and I could have been working on the trucks system instead.

Tfryr, Pics of your Cobra can be found at???

Welcome to the IHoP
That's all good if your electrical system can handle it and if it will actually work. Take my Cobra for example. I can get an electric water pump for my car, but it would be for tack use only. Using it, I would have no other way to run my other accessories with the belt. Not feasible on a street car. FYI, it takes about 1hp to make 10 amps of current from your alt. That's 20hp for 200 amps. That's a big chunk of power right there. wow, alts must be horrifically inefficient then 1 hp = 760 watts Lol, just like it takes cash to make cash it takes power to make power.

creative sounds full range 4.5" driver
Your definition of flat is strange: -3dB at 65Hz Of course that is easily improved via your enclosure/cabin gain but you are going to seriously run out of Xmax trying to get any real sound out of a 4.5" driver. It might sound nice at extremely low levels, but to keep up with you SS it will not. If it was in a house you could use an array of them, but I think for car duty I would stick them only in the middle of a three way or perhaps for the lazy solution to those idiotic cars with 4x6 plate options only.

THE WONDER DRIVER HAS ARRIVED!!
I used to have a set of Maggies (Magnepan) and they were super transparent and very clear sounding. Needed a woofer to fill in the bottom end though and these were 2' x 6'. In order to get any real bass response you really need a big-azz planar. Even the Martin-Logan's integrate a bass box with theirs. I would love to hear the reps response to our bantering. Please prove us wrong and I will buy some!
