Radar Detectors
I've got an old Bel 840i (I believe). When I say old, it is at least 5 yrs old. Seems to work just fine, fairly ready to give false alerts but pegs the real ones as well. NOTE, they are useless without the eyes that you pointed out in your initial post. I bought it originally for about $130-150 (too long ago to really remember). When I bought mine Bel was supplying the MN cops with Radar's, so I bought a Bel. The reviews that I have read recently rate the PP8500 and Val1 as the best. Beware of used ones though as both have gone through a few firmware updates and hardware which could make a used one not really worth the savings. Both are around the $300 range. Aren't they illegal in Canada? Your brake lights and their radar detectors will give you away if you use it. To combat that I wired my 68 Galaxy's brake lights to an off/on switch so I could stop them from lighting up if necessary. Oh and most importantly, no way could I live without one. I am so used to it that I feel really naked when I don't have one. Get ready for that feeling once you start using one.

Need to buy small sub for boat as Xmas gift
In our roto-xmas draw names, I drew my sis and bro-in-law. We cap our spending at $100, but I will break it a bit if logical. They have a 20 Sea Ray runabout and are putting a stereo in it before summer. I have an old Pioneer amp that is about 90x2 at 2ohm that I don't want and will give them, but would like to buy a subwoofer to go with it. Being it is a 2chn, DVC would be great. Since it won't have tons of power a fairly effecient driver would be great, space is fairly minimal so something that works well in a small ported box would be ideal. What would you guys do?

spyware
See the cpu for recommendations, but remember that most require that you load into safe mode first and then run them. Or at least they will work much better then. As for Spyware if you surf carefully you don't need it so I don't have any, but Microsuck makes some or Spybot seems effective for free to.

wire??
If you don't know just stuff it up in the dash where you won't see it. Or you could put in the diligence to trace it and figure out wtf it is.

So i just purchased my RLPs
3.3 may be big for a truck like yours but not for porting dual Rlp's. I assume you mean gross volume which should be near perfect for sealed and lots of SQ! Is it 3.3cuft gross or net?--actually either way you do not have enough volume for porting those subs

Nurburgring Record Broken Video
Wow. This guy really cooks through the circuit: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/video_gallery...lap_record.html Also, I read for $215 you can pay a professional racer to drive you accross the circuit in a brand new bone stock 500hp M5. I think I might do that the next time I am in Germany! Especially after watching this. edit: fixed (I think--if you miss twice they make you log in)

Welcome to the IHoP
That narrows it down to one of about 16 different available recordings, hopefully you have a good one! I got it off of the first issue of the Expirence CD. Good enough for me. Ah, I love the Hendrix jams. Must have at least 30-40 non-issued (in the US) CD's of live performances. Red House can be da bom.

That does sound like BS. Where I went to school we used a curve and nobody ever hit anywhere near 100. The most lopsided test I ever took, I had the 2nd highest score at 13% which was curved to a B. The top score was a 98% (missed two +/-'s), crazy part of that 98 was that it took him about 3 minutes and one paragraph while the prof had a 5 page solution to the problem. Mine I never solved but hit a lot of points. Gotta hate 1 question Physics finals. Le Arggggh (H BD Kent)
