I drove one when they first came out. The CUE integration is ghastly, but otherwise it made me think about it. The Vsport version drives nice.

I used to care about pure raw performance. Just perfect number chasing. Now I just want to feel excited and a little flamboyant. That's why I like the 911. To me it feels so interesting, engaging, and unique. I think i should drive a vette or mustang of modern times though. They seem like they might be a real hoot! I understand, exactly why I said sit in one. It killed my excitement and feeling of flamboyance.

If I wanted a daily driver the Cayenne would be my choice. The chilli pepper is dope, but I think the x5m or x6m would still be more my style. Its been so long since I drove any of them, I should try them all again.... X5m sucks The other two are hard for me to pick. I like how the BMW drives better though.

I read the numbers and I thought it was the car for me. The interior while kinda ok, is not my style at all. It doesn't feel special and it's just not ergonomic. I would like to drive the P90D or whatever the new one is to see what I think about it... But I'm sure it won't excite me in anything other than fast launches. I drove one before it was released. The launches and rolling accel is insane. Just is a sloppy pig. That and I do not want AWD.

Rips enough I may get one. Helps we get monster deals on new BM'ers at 12% off. Makes them lease really well when they have a >60% residual.

2009 Turbo and the M4 are pretty neck and neck for speed. Slight edge on the 911, but it'll get eaten everywhere else by the Bm'er.

Sat in a MP4 same day and was amazed how much the interior was an afterthought. Going from a $70,000 911 to a $70,000 M4 will make you want the M4....in EVERY aspect.

Honestly, I'd leave it alone, but have the exhaust fully welded or at least v-bands in an area you need a clamp. Should cost you less than cats and retain little restriction. You shouldn't have any odor issues unless you have a leak. Smells like it isn't catalyzed. The only issue with that is it makes my wife car sick. Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it. Can't open the sun roof while going 50 with her in the car, can't have it running when she gets in it, etc...

Arbitrary question time. GM 6.2, 2.3L Whipple, 102mm TB and Long tubes. What would adding race cats due to the power? How much louder than stock manifold/exhaust once the hi-flow cats are back? Want better NVH. Will fix classically, but am thinking on the source. Plus I know a certain woman who hates it now based on getting car sick due to smell.
