My double gas tank covers the seam so I am leaving it. Ground the welds off the extension with 120g and now I get to sand it smooth for polish. old bumper can be seen here hiding underneath the new grown cooler

The answer to your concerns is to spend time on the install, not buy equipment. A cap will do you NO benefit. None, zero, nilch, nada. Just an expensive BS paperweight. Don't bother with the MECP, pretty useless. If you need it for work it is one thing, but otherwise not even sure you'll learn anything useful.

Fixing up the interior & suspension will help it more than the motor. Boost goes without saying.

Escalade so far gets better mileage than the ML.
