  1. And in Golden Valley, lol.
  2. Stupid XC90 pulled in right as I was trying to grab the pic. Not because I like the car so much, it does have a nice interior, and is only $100k but because I've never seen a chrome 3m wrap before.
  3. Grab a Fisker, put a turbo'd lsx in it and a hidden hitch. Reminds me to upload a pic. One minute.
  4. I'd like the smallest thing possible. Needs to fit me and have a comfy seat, allow for 2 car seats and tow. ROFL. Those two things go GREAT together. If a Gallardo could have a back seat and a hitch, I'd be that guy.
  5. Wait a minute, wtf. A Flex with a tune running a 13.3 103? http://www.ctsvowners.com/forum/showthread.php/1597-Livernois-Tuned-Taurus-SHO-vs-2012-Jeep-SRT8 Get an Explorer in the 12's and build it to be reliable and I am interested.
  6. Going to summerize the snowmobiles That is always a very sad day.

I just checked your profile, but can't see how to do any reset. I think only Mark or Aaron can. I did manage to change your gender to female though.
  8. I don't like it. It looks like a bloated car.Exactly. I want a car. I need to tow. Bloating a car works. Best part is that it drives like a car too.
  9. You are obviously referring to the BMW as I easily sit in the Jeep. I'm actually "ok" in the Bm'er too, but 99 out of a 100 times it gets driven my 2 & 4 year old will be in it.
  10. I am not recommending you do this alone, but Personally I'd shut off the HP completely (ie turn it off on one and down to 50Hz or so on the headunit). Then listen for stress. Keep turning up the crossover frequency until the stress goes away. Pick music that is abusive to the mids while you are listening and shut off your sub. BEFORE doing that, turn ALL eq's to flat. Your setup sounds like hell since you are boosting 6dB at random frequencies. Adjust the crossover first and THEN start to CUT different frequencies and listen to what it does. When you find the frequencies that are troubling and things get better use that as your center point. Every car, every installation, every speaker all need UNIQUE equalizer settings. Doing something random like you have is just going to result in a mess.
  11. Or run a single ported 12. B4 shopping though, I'd design the box.
  12. And that is you building a box. I'd shrink it a bit to be safe which to me means 2 sealed 10's. If you want ported and 2 of them you are going to need to be creative or lift your seat. A single 12 ported will work though.
  13. Hamann Yummy And the more realistic stock unit with some shit wheels...what I'll drive next
  14. It was blacked out, not normally a fan but in this case I liked it. Amusingly the guy who traded it is buddies with the guy who tried to sell me the 07. Got a ZL1 Camaro instead. Whopping 6k miles on the Jeep.
  15. Drove a 2012 JGC SRT8, followed by an 07 JGC SRT8 and a Lincoln Navigator at lunch. New Jeep is nice. Seats have some hot spots as they are too narrow in the ass pad which is shocking since I have a whopping 34" waist. Seems more aggressive from the go than the ML, but way sleepier once you are doing 30. 7spd AMG vs 5spd Jeep The 8 speed will really fix that car. The 07 is nasty. Had Nitto's in all four corners and launched hard as hell. Not so amusingly the ML with snow tires corners better though. the 2012 is on par with my truck if not more firm in the corners. Not nearly as refined. The 07 is a shitty beast although it is world's smoother than the TBSS. Just no way I can deal with the plastic bullshit interior. Could be made into a fun car, but not for me. The Lincoln seems sleepy in the gas pedal compared to the caddy, but otherwise drives a lot nicer. Dash sucks donkey dick and it's way too big. Outside of the Navigation though it is an improvement over the Sequoia in almost every aspect.
  16. Mid 50's here today too. In N MN it might hit high 30's today though. At this point I still wish I lived up there, but in a week or two that'll change back
  17. Getting 3" of fresh snow today up North. Makes me want to go out for one more rip damnit.
  18. Perfect, thanks. That'll be in 3 years
  19. Just because you've seen installs doesn't mean they are worth a shit. Getting 1.25cuft net is not trivial, more than that is a pipe dream. Get the box built/designed first as your early measurements and reality aren't going to line up.
  20. Try using the eq's to cut frequencies and see if you find a range that helps.
  21. As usual, I waffle all over the place and end up right back where I started. Why can't I just trust my first instinct. Sucks though as I really don't want to drive a truck for the next umteen years. I want a car Of course this means after we move and this lease is up, I'll probably buy an old truck just to tow with.
  22. If I get one it'll be an SRT...and under warranty the whole time I own it. I thought you were looking based on the prospect of buying it outright after the lease period. If so, I would think twice. If not, 36K ownership should be OK. Ah, indeed. Sorry, that is if I bought something cheap. Was hoping that I could buy something (including mods) for $30k. At the end of the lease then I'd buy it for $5k or less and keep it. Being the Jeep will be $45k at the end of the lease it'll be $25k which means I run the fuck away. Same with my ML or the X6, X5M.
  23. Under the seat of a Crew Cab? Can't even get that under an older E/C with a seat lift. You need to remeasure...
  24. Sounds like Kicker or Memphis. We can't help if "ok" is the response. If you don't know what you like you are really way better off picking with your ears.
