Things have to be designed as a system. Shopping/highlighting a single driver without the rest of the parameters is completely pointless.

Need to first test each and every driver independently and then in combinations together. Until you know the problem, you can't solve it. Pics/details on the mounting would help as well.

SQ is not related to output. You can have something be loud and sound good, doesn't mean your ears can tell at those levels. My 350 had a similar issue in my boat. Oil pressure switch going to the ECU was bad. MEFI controller shut off the fuel when it saw it. I've never heard of that in a vehicle but since I went through the fun of trouble shooting it I thought I'd share. I haven't actually replaced the switch yet either though, just pulled the wire off it.

Aargh. Fucking EBC. Red pads for the front = fine. For the rear, in their catalog but NEVER made. Now my choices are: Centric OE Metallic, Bendix Ceramic Rear ($37 so wtf?), AC Delco DuraStop, Jurid for $64, Delphi for $50 And then do I match or grab the reds for the front and either the Jurid or Bendix for the rear.
