Indeed healthy would have been a better description and it's even easier to see that difference.

As I've said before, my biological reasoning on anything I eat has nothing to do with studying but watching people. Europeans are all thin and healthy compared to us and eat WAY more grains than we do. They aren't all thin, plenty of fat people in the UK and in Germany for instance But in the UK bio and low-fat products were the in-thing and I saw lots of people shopping from the small markets with fresh produce Can't say their food is bad, I actually lost 5 lbs and always ate well when I was there. Walk around France or Italy where grains are a predominant part of the diet and yes there are fat people, but if you think there are a lot of them you should come here once.

I also find the grain as a cash crop argument funny....but I grew up where there is fertile soil and beets are produced. Now THERE is a cash crop.

And it was a stretch when I said I have no reasoning outside of observation, but I believe in the observation more than anything I read. Japan is a good one too. Not so many unhealthy folk. I also don't fart in Japan. not sure what that means but I am a fan of their diet. Not particularly in context though as they don't have nearly the access to cereal grains that we do.
  5. None of those drivers will solve a midbass problem. The Scan Rev is the closest, but I wouldn't recommend it for in car. Of course, I am not even sure that your definition of midbass and a normal one coincide. One other clarification. A super tweeter with efficiency up the effin' wazoo will need MANY midranges to blend. That of course creates other issues, but it is flat out absurd to base buying a 2 way set off a super tweet. You also should really really, really, really not use the crossover you have. And as for what comp set for $250 will do better. First step is to fix the install. A poor install will always create issues.

I'll skim it later, but am dubious. Not saying there isn't some truth in it, but the conclusions are rough. Came from hippy central. Pretty much bet at the same college you'll find someone with the same arguments against meat. I'd buy into those quicker.

I think you are reading biased studies. Either way, if it grows and you eat it avoiding what doesn't you'll be healthy and have no worries.

Cereal grains aren't exactly healthy. Not if you have celiacs, but otherwise they are.
  10. Loose connection somewhere in the amp. Before the last response that wasn't for sure the case which is why I wanted you to clarify. I'd hate to have you wait for a new board and have it not solve the issue.

Eating thing is simple. If it grows eat it, otherwise don't.
  12. It will be more efficient at 2 ohms versus 1.
  13. Again. Still haven't answered. I can see why they had a problem troubleshooting... He answered the question for you a couple times already, yes it only protects in HPF and regardless if speakers are hooked up or not. It doesnt protect when playing his subs on LPF and he has tried to other amps on his front stage with no problems whatsoever. No, he said it didn't on LP on his subs. How about defeat/all pass? How about HP on his subs? I'd seriously want to check before sending it in as making sure it is the amp and rectified would be my goal. Drummer's question is a good one as well. Is it gain dependent?

  20. So it ONLY protects when using the HPF? Again, did you tell the service department that?
  21. So you are saying it doesn't go into protect unless you use the xover? Did you share that so when it was tested they would only test it with the crossovers on?
  22. So either the way it was tested was wrong or there is something wrong with your setup. Have you measured the load you are putting onto each of the channels and checked for shorts?
