I use to bang women in Hoboken.... lol.. Not far at all...- Need a suggestion for my Icon
Forgot to add, budget is under $550. Thank you Jay-Cee for that quick suggestion, didn't even notice that guy up on the SSA store. Thanks. ZED Audio Kronos- Need a suggestion for my Icon
So I have had my 12" Icon all but a month now and I feel like its time to get it an amplifier that will make it happy. Right now it is being powered from a JL Audio 500/1 and it seems to take it with pleasure. So far it has made a great addition to my Toyota Camry. What I will be doing is upgrading the power for the Icon and re-doing the front stage hopefully in the spring. Basically in the end of my other thread I mentioned a particular amplifier I am interested in and was hoping to maybe get some suggestions along the same lines as that one. The particular amplifier in question is a Boston Acoustics GT-2300. Seems to fit my needs and then some. What I am looking for in the amplifier: Either Class D or A/B design Integrated variable SSF 800+ in wattage Power must be rate for output at 4Ohm This is the thread I had earlier:- SSA Store Review??
thank you good sir, I figured it was filtered and wouldn't show same day but was worried after 2-3 days no post... Thanks for clearing that up. Thanks. I was going to get more technical but seeing as how that probably won't mean much to most people I kept it simple. It's still too early to write something better or longer. I still need to get an amplifier worth of my Icon. I have been looking to a Class A/B amplifier since I'm not worried about size of it and looking for something more "musical" in nature. I have my eye on the Boston Acoustics GT-2300 for my Icon since I am only willing to run my amp at 4Ohms and nothing lower. I don't like the idea of running 1Ohm to achieve the power output I need. After that I can def write something more in-depth and obviously break-in will set in around that time hopefully. Jay- Would you happen to have any suggestions that are in sink with a BA GT-2300 as far as design and function, I need 800-1000 watts at 4Ohms. I think I will start another thread.- SSA Store Review??
Hey fellas... I recently, I believe 2 days ago, wrote a review for the 12" Icon in the SSA store. I haven't seen it up on the site yet. It's just kind of embarrassing man.. Did my review get rejected or do you have like a week before processing/posting??? Just wondering since I have yet to see any owners review this woofer... Thanks -Danny- Second Skin New Guy
cool beans... another rep that might be active.. yippee!- NEW JERSEY
keep it going guys... more jersey peoples... where you at!!!- Need SQ tweeter suggestions
The nice thing about Madisound and their prices is that most people can afford to find out that something won't work for their needs. It's too cheap to not take a chance on most of their equipment.. Anyway, if you don't try it, then how do you know if can or can't handle it??? Would be nice if there was always someone who tried something you are looking for so you can get an idea of what works and how well but shit sucks like that... I say buy and try but only if it doesn't break the bank...- Mrs. BanginGMCs Hair Trick
WTF? Then you Ninja Edited it. LMFAO!!! :roflmao: :roflmao:- Trying to figure out a box for 2 15" xcons.

I know they have nothing to do with this particular thread, but the Sony Ericsson's definitely can handle their 5-8MP ratings well enough to be considered a good option for not carrying around a digital camera for random events.... Other than that, you are correct for the most part... But I honestly don't buy a phone hoping to use the camera at all, I am only smiley when I was in a pinch and needed to use it.. You have never used a real camera obviously. Considering the Sony 14.2mp alpha350 can only resolve what the Canon 12mp 450d can I would expect things to scale to their lower end units. Add to that you are going from HUGE DLSR optics to dinky, cheap, disposable cell phone optics I am sure that their ratings are still a joke. I am not saying that they can't take a reasonable picture and perhaps even a great one for viewing on its OWN screen, but it is not a replacement for a camera by any means. At least not if you ever want to print anything which to me is exactly the purpose of the camera. edit: And no, the Canon can't resolve all of its pixels either. BTW, MP in cameras have stopped being a buying reason years ago. thank you for saying this... I think general public fails to realize this.... bothers me sometimes... but I have used a "real" camera .... I just don't own because it is not something I need. :-/ ...- Excessive Amp. or Power Bastards
ahh.. nice choice.. i been looking and still lost... BTW, remind us what you're running in your apparently "broken" EVO 8???- Excessive Amp. or Power Bastards
Honestly Power bastards is a complete joke. Both the alts and customer service. If you want a quality built alt do not buy from them. My experience was absolutely terrible with them but now I know better So who you using now Mac?- Droid X vs Droid Incredible?

Rooting in most cases void warranty, but to be honest most Android phones can be reversed, only some of them have a signature file that is present to notify manufacturer of custom ROM installation, my Google Nexus One being one of them... ... But the phone is outstanding and never any hiccups with hardware only bad ROMs...- Droid X vs Droid Incredible?
Basically anything and everything. You can install apps that were paid for(not by you) and they work. You can customize looks and boot. Best thing is tethering built into the ROM of the device. I currently own a Google Nexus One and cannot seem to find a reason to get a new phone. I don't have Verizon so I couldn't be bothered to fully look at the 2 comparisons you mentioned but you should definitely go for the smartphone with the highest frequency processor for smoother response. My brother has an Incredible and loves it though. I couldn't tell you for sure which is better but the Incredible is more hackable..- NEW JERSEY
Middlesex, NJ.... thank you Lord for someone making a Jersey thread.. But low and behold, no teams or comps or shows that I know of that care about audio. They have drag/street racing in Englishtown by me but when you see the "audio" guys there, they vibrate your ears to hell with fart systems... Another note! you other Jersey guys are not reppin' well.. Where is your system info? Sigs? Come one fellas, rep it right!!!- how do you properly ground an amp?
just for kicks... try connecting the rear or front RCA outputs just to see if there is still a whine... obviously be careful with your sub and make the volume on your HU is lowered...- Btl update
