I want M5 to yell at me before I buy it so... I will ask this.. Will my SQ go up??

So right now, I have a crappy Pioneer not even 200watts running off my JL Audio 500/1 ... So I want an Icon because I want a nicer subwoofer that I can grow into.. The woofer will be put into a sealed enclosure about 1.0 cubes. So obviously output will be louder with the better woofer and higher wattage.. Am I okay to underpower it? I know this question is common, but just would like to hear good news for my setup... Thanks guys... Also I am definitely tired of shitty Pioneer 12" ... Sounds like a fatty person's fart...lol... So I'd rather spend my 300 beans with you guys and not give it to Big Business .. Plus the reviews of the product are just too insane to not try it and I seen the resale value if in good condition is still relatively high.. So if I don't enjoy it, I can sell it at a small loss... Will I love it? Make me know that... And I will buy it!! So help me God....

I just received the newsletter from SSA, it mentions a few updates and what not.. One of the links which got me all excited and happy says 12" Icon sale pricing! Of course I clicked the link and it is dead.. This is what I see, anybody else have the same issue? I wanna buy a new woofer!!!

If I do the expanding foam, should I seal up the edges of the ribs or would the foam be good enough??

So this is the trunk lid for now.. Thinking about doubling it up with SS damplifier pro.. Should I??

Ahh I see... so I just got unlucky that my dayum Toy Cam has many 3/8 bolts... Good suggestion though because that never ran across my mind though... Thanks Argent

question... how come no one carries 3/8 wire terminals on their site?? I can find bulk sets on ebay but rarely can I find them on any online store... I have 0 gauge wire and have not done my BIG 3 upgrades cuz I can't find the right FLIPPIN' terminals... I ordered some from darvex.com and it was 5/16 which I ended up having to shave the inside to get it connected to my battery... That is more work than I want to do... Can anyone help with this???

Well I can't directly answer the question about too much output.. But the amp should run 15.1v okay I think.. Thing about the amp is that it won't put out more wattage just cuz your voltage goes up passed its rated input of 14.4v ... I could be wrong but I don't think you'll def get 15.1v at the amps unless you tested that out already... Also, did you get the adapter? or they send it out today for your alternator?

as far as I know.... the 3000D is no longer in production..????. But they have the SAZ-3500D .... If you're looking to acheive a 1 oHm load then yeas... you need 2 DVC-1oHm woofers... DAMN YOU DURAN!!

I think the Q's are a good idea if you can fit them... but crap 2 of them really necessary? I was thinking bout getting one for myself to run sealed but just ONE....
