What error messages do you receive in WinISD? What information did you input into the driver specifications? If you can take screenshots and post them that would be helpful!

Whew! I hope someone appreciates this one! I'm getting < 6 hours of sleep tonight just to go stand out in the freezing cold for this picture! Took over an hour of practicing to get the right shot. Two photos! First was just one of many practice shots with an extremely high ISO setting so that I could get the focusing right. Shutter speed = 30 seconds at 3.5 f/stop (lowest my lens will go) and 6400 ISO (highest that goes too!). I'm including it for two reasons, 1st because of the shooting star it caught and 2nd so that you can see that the lights really were in focus and that I didn't do a hack job Second is pretty much the real shot. Shutter speed = 10 minutes 3 seconds. 3.5 f/stop. 200 ISO. Enjoy! (Bonus for whoever can tell me what the hell is making the orange light on the horizon... it was 1:30 am and we were facing due north. the Moon maybe?)

@Stefan, I would really like to be that comfortable on a bike. Not sure entirely how useful it would be, but it would be nice to have that kind of bike control. If you are into that style, youtube Jorian Ponomareff. He has well put-together professional videos similar to this one.

Explorers are easy to work with. The bins in the rear are good places for hidden amplifier storage. Don't know exactly what you are looking for. But they have plenty of space and I haven't had any vehicle related issues yet.

Take this Set it to this Unscrew these Now, take these and make sure they are plugged into the thing in picture 1 Now take the black one and touch the metal end to a wire you unscrewed from your amp ( which was step 3) and take the red one and touch it the other wire you unscrewed from your amp (also was step 3). Look at the screen of the thing that was in picture 1 while doing this. It will give you a number. Tell us that number. Then, leave the black and red things plugged in, put the speaker wire down, and touch the red and black things metal ends to eachother and look at the number. Tell us that number. We need both of them.

In comparison to Sundown and RF, yes. Considerably cheaper. Not saying they aren't as capable, just that their MSRP is lower. The name change is annoying :|

Well it would all really depend on your budget and if you have the same fear of purchasing used equipment. AQ and Audiopipe are often two "cheaper" amplifier brands that people recommend around here. There has been a few HiFonics horror stories, but in reality 99% of the time an amplifier fails it's the users fault. I actually run a HiFonics amp... but it's a tad older than the BRZ line

Proof: Perhaps you should take your own advice and list the reasons as to why you would pick those drivers over the 2nd generation BTL.

So Honda, seeing that nothing other than amplifier was changed, would you say that the amplifier was defective?

Thanks that's good to know. That's actually something I know how to fix. I'll wait for more input but in the mean time i'll take my magnifying glass and head lamp to the board to see if I can find anything!

So I finally got around to this. The amplifier is playing a roll, which makes me sad because I was looking forward to using it Switched out the amp and it works just fine. No whine on either the 3552 or the Falcon. Can someone explain why that is?
