i REALLY wish i could come up with uses for the other buttons on a classic NES controller because I have a few and would love to make the fiero a push button start and flush the controller into the dash or center console, hooking up the 'start' button to start the car. just seems like such a waste if all the other buttons do nothing.

may pick up a pair of the preorder 8s and use them IB behind the seats but i feel it'll lower my sound floor a little

i'm not a nice guy and shit still happens to me, but i sure as fuck don't promise not to get mad. you don't have to be an asshole, but don't be the nice guy that gets walked on either. i don't control anyone but i make it very clear when something doesn't sit well with me. usually this ends up as being controlling because a girl just changes to meet what i want, which isn't what i want at all. the reason i adore this current girl is because she will stand toe to toe with me when she believes just as strongly as i do. That way when the argument is over we both know where we stand.

so...i think i've chosen the final setup for the fiero. it's going to be alllll kinds of overkill

she has no concern about noise, she has 3 kids 5yo or under, even the loudest setup would be silent in her house.

i priced her one out at $1500 for a very nice setup with vista i'm thinking of adding on at least $100 for the time it'll take me to set it up.

after i fixed my niece's computer my sis is wanting me to build her one now..... i'm thinking since she IS my sister i'll only charge her like $800/hr labor. I'm sure she'd cut me the same deal.

i just got some cheapo wire off ebay, we'll see how it works out.

looks like the niece's computer is up and running AND stable for once. 3gigs of ram, only about 250gigs of Hard drive, onboard video, pentium D 3.2ghz, and 3 fans running to keep the bish cool. mb temps seem to have dropped about 10degrees. about fucking time
