the bronco was so-so, it was definitely worth the asking price, and solid, but not a great deal by any means. It is a 66 first year and no real rust except in the fender well (easily fixed, zero frame or body that would need work). Rebuilt 289 with a 3sp on the column, good tires and very solid interior.

Fuck yeah! My grandfather had an old Bronco and a Scout. His neighbor had a first gen Suburban also. I'd love to have any one of those 3, or all 3. I may get very lucky with this one, we shall see. It was listed in a local paper for $4000 with a new professionally rebuilt 5.0 (don't know about ford engines, just like the idea of new rather than old) and when I called the guy to ask about it he made it sound like an old beater and in this area that means treated like dog shit and not worth a penny. Anyway, my brother in law happened to drive past the vehicle and said from the road it looked absolutely fantastic except for a couple small spots and wouldn't need anything at all. Turns out my brother actually used to know this guy and just restores old vehicles, used to have two Power Wagons that he restored and showed all over the county, does beautiful work etc etc etc. I'm sure I can walk away with the vehicle for much less than he wants if it's the quality that i've been told this guy is capable of.

for anyone that doesn't know, 9861 is the alpine single din unit that plays DVD's and controls the h701 without the need for the c701 (but i've heard it's a bitch) if it's not bought before the xfire is done i'll probably just paint the center console to match rather than switching HU's

Couldnt agree more.............The only thing that pisses me off more (no offense to anyone) is the "Parents with children or infants" parking. I parked there got out and had some mom with her lil kid flip on me for it. I told her I have a kid...........just not with me. J meh, I park in the back of the lot. Not to avoid other cars mind you I just despise the whole "i need to park fucking close because I am a lazy fat ass" mentality. omg i'm so glad i'm not the only person that does that. people that will sit in their car for 15min and wait for someone to leave rather than walk 10' is the best, happy heart attack fatasses. I usually park near the back of the lot, and if someone in a super nice car parked like a jackass I always park beside them (ok ok this was with stratusfaction).
