The cost of the inductors alone would not make it worth it. bah, what is worth it? what's the setup you're looking at? Some 10 or 12 inch sub on 200W @ 8 ohms in the dorm behind the couch (can pull it out from the wall a bit and get quite a bit of space) ohhhh i thought you meant like a MTM setup or something. yea with a passive to do that you're looking at a lot of money too, no chance to just find an amp with a lpf?

i never really liked the G6's appearance but every time i come up on one from behind i am taken by it. something about the way the ass is made :-D

a simple passive crossover is mostly a waste of time IMO. real passives cost a lot of money and are fit to the speakers you choose, and the enclosure they're in. they incorporate WAY more than just high and low pass filters. go over on www.htguide.com and check out some of their finished products and you'll see passive crossovers at their finest.

this one has hit me, i love it. she just seems to be a little too crazy for even my taste
