I've tried treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes and the skiiers and i must say nothing gives me the flat out rush that running does. Though if you're having problems with your knees that may be out of the question.

the rubber/wood stays together fine, my biggest gripe is that the frontstrap moves a little when shooting. this could be solved with a tiny strip of double sided tape but i plan on switching to horned lizards soon so no point. yep the front sight is fiber optic, going sunday to shoot her and see how much easier these sights are to pick up.

gun and arm...i plead the 5th my roomie has the subcompact xd-40 and my ex roommate has the larger in a 9mm, not sure if it's a tactical or the other size (service?). i really don't like xd's. the 1911 is a completely different gun too. their xd's are as accurate as they need to be but can't come close to the 1911. The 1911 has a trigger that makes me pop a boner and the xd has one designed for tactical shooting where you need a lot of take-up and a heavier trigger. I have small hands so the 1911 fits my hand extremely well, the xd 9mm feels a little large for my hands. other than that don't get me wrong, the xd is a great gun, but a completely different gun than the 1911. not to mention i can constantly upgrade my 1911 and there isn't much of anything you can do to an xd. that being said both the xd owners love my 1911(i think more than their xds but they won't admit it) and both want one but won't spend the money on one.

i get what you're saying but from what i've heard that's not how this class is it all. take my aquatic entomology class for example, 3000 level biology and there's tons of non bio ppl in there taking the class. fly fishers that are interested in the subject and they're all doing just fine. The class is not easy by any means, you have to know all the different taxa luckily no species. you have to know habitat and some anatomy of each insect. but the class isn't unnecessarily hard, anyone interested in it can pass. But from what i've heard about the wine tasting class it's not designed to be an intense class where you learn a lot, it's a class where you can learn a lot but you def have to forget about passing the class or at least getting a decent grade in it. but once again i've never taken the class, so it could just be hype too.

i think the problem with a lot of classes is they ... can't see the forest for the trees. no idea how to explain that better.

there is another wine class we have that is manageable. apparently you have nice professors there. i've had quite a few classes here where the material wasn't rough but the tests were flat out impossible just to thin down the class. for example, and i use this all the damn time, in my intro to film class one question on one of the exams was... in bram stoker's dracula, one of the actresses(it mentioned her name, i forget) wears a white dress with a certain pattern on it. this dress was inspired by a painting from what era? stupid intro class and it raped me, though i endedup with an ok grade it took wayyyy too much effort.

i woulnd't. i've heard that class is a TOTAL bitch. apparently all kinds of chemistry and tests that are impossible so that ppl won't want to take the class. everyone i've ever talked to has dropped it.

had to threaten the roomie today. he's really starting to get on my nerves with the airsoft bullchit. when i'm sitting on the couch watching tv i don't expect to have a pellet whiz by my face (yea it's the one that's a bad shot thank god). now he did the same chit to me last night while i was sitting there, and i warned him then but apparently he's not the kind to listen. now understand at this point i'm pissed, there's a time to play and that doesn't involve pucking with my face, especially the risk of hitting my eyes. i have a hugeeee thing about my eyes and won't be putting them at risk because he's a child. so i bum rush him push his door open and take the gun away from him, informing him that he's lucky he missed cause if he would have hit me i would be in the process of kicking the chit out of him, not just taking the gun away. this whole time his gf is yelling like a bitch cause she thinks i am going to beat him. next time i get hit while watching tv i'm going to break the gun so i don't have to worry about the stupid chit anymore.

i almost took someone out the other day. totally my fault too. bitch must have been riding in my blind spot in th left lane for at least two miles. i signal and then start to change lanes when i hear a horn, i turn to check and there she is. granted i checked the mirrors and looked left before i started to change lanes but she was sitting perfectly in my blind spot to wherei would have had to looked back at like 5:30 to see her. i still switched lanes though, there was enough room for me to get over...
