if you get mirc open...type /server irc.SHOUTcast.com once you log in you type /nick (your desired nickname obviously) /j SSA

download mIRC and go from there...once it's installed there's a bunch of fine tuning to do i can't really remember all of it off the top of my head because you set it up once then forget it

irc wouldn't require any server space, so that would be good for SSA, out of the top networks it looks like efnet might be our best bet

any idea what networks still have chanserv and nickserv? i don't think undernet does anymore

so what do we think about setting up our own private channel on one of the networks? i usually peruse undernet but we can use any as far as I'm concerned.

i had mine running by putting the 2ohm coils in series (so they are essentially a 4ohm connection) then running it in parallel with the other 4 ohm coils, for a final load of 1.33333 i've also heard that you can run the 4 and 2 in series, so you could run then at a final load of 3ohm as well
