it's not faulty units, it's a faulty design. I don't know the specifics but apparently they have a chitty method of grounding the rca's. there are some band aid fixes but i tried a combination of a few and the alt whine was still too much for me. not trying to discourage you, just making sure you know what you're getting in to.

only if you don't care how they sound, i've put way more $$ into my frontstage than my substage. But then again i think it's more benificial there as well.

also are you going to make passive crossovers or run active, that'll make quite a difference
