i can drink gin with OJ and a splash of lemon juice. i've found that clear liquors usually get me nicely drunk, but sometimes depressed. Beer makes me sleepy, and dark liquors make me wanna break chit.

i like the z06 alright but wouldn't have the grand sport even sitting in my garage. of course the only corvette i would ever want to own would be...(damn it's hard to find a decent pic of these..had to suffice with ugly color and wheels)

damn people not wanting the 8053s just pisses me off. I'm not going to be able to get a decent price for mine and i'm definitely not giving it away. dad will never be able to appreciate it in his car but it looks like that is where it's going. he's upgrading from a jensen with HU power to my 8053 and probably my butler. lol.

i hope you don't have noise. I definitely would have bought it somewhere with a warranty. I got mine off e-bay with a warranty, popped the microfuse and got noise like a bitch. Got it replaced and just sold the new one. I can tell you without a doubt some people will just get noise. Mine was installed correctly as was ramos's and i think he went through 2 or 3. Other lucky people don't get the noise like //m5 and i do envy him cause the 880 was a very nice unit especially for the price. oh yea, i've also heard that the amps could have a lot to do with it though i'm not sure they would. I do know i got way more noise with my butlers than i did with the mark antony i had.

btw if anyone has some really cheap 2 or 4ch amps they wanna let go just LMK. cosmetics don't matter, actually the more beaten up the better since it'll be in dad's car.

As far as hunting down one goes.. in 2003 Eclipse released probably one of the most premier SQ decks ever. The CD8053. Finding one of those would be saweet. i know where two 8053s are for sale, mine or 2kchevy's thought i haven't actually listed mine yet

I just bought a computer used (but brand new) it's a custom made with all the necessaries built into the MB, 2.1 speakers creative speakers, 17" flat screen monitor. 150gb HD, pentium 3.x ghz, wireless mouse, wired keyboard and a legal winxp key but no cd. $200, i thought it was a hell of a deal but just wanted someone else's opinion.

i have heard you should definitely change the shocks when changing ride height, changing to a shock that is usable with the new ride height.

if it handles good enough you had the speed going into the curve and didn't lose enough of it to matter. I guy that used to race amateur at bristol. He was in the 4cyl class, raced an omni. As far as i know he never lost. I always got my daytona parts from him and one day he explained his technique to me. Tons of the other 4cyl were making way more HP than him, but as he would say, they could go into the curves as fast as they wanted to, but he always came out faster.
