Welcome to the IHoP
and you wanna talk about stupid people. Keeping in mind i am in pharmacy school with 128 other P1s that are supposed to be the best and the brightest. We had a little mini clicker quiz today (clicker = anonymous way of answering ....doesn't matter). So the question was the gas exchange that takes place in the lungs is Oxygen coming in to the blood and CO2 moving to the lungs vs visa versa around 10% of the class got it wrong. we have like 2 people in our whole class that doesn't already have their bachelor's, and I'm the one flunking classes.

it'd be a real tough call in that scenario for 1 real good reason, what the fuck do i do if i don't shoot him. he's got his knife and i can make him drop it, but i don't know that he hasn't got a gun, if i have someone else with me i'll wait while they call the cops, but if it's just me i won't risk taking my eyes off him or either of my hands off my gun. I'm not real sure how i would handle it but it would be handled with only one thing in mind, my (or "our" if i have anyone with me) safety

Welcome to the IHoP
i knew a kid who was running down the hallway and jumped up to push a vent grating up (which was the intention) his finger slipped between the grills, his ring got caught and when he fell it popped the fucker right off.

You've obviously never ridden in an Eaton'd 3.8 MN12. They are nasty down low. Run out of steam pretty quickly though. never have but the srt6 weighs less has way more HP and only about 20ft lbs less torque (curves not taken into account) so i can't imagine how they'd even come close on the highway. HP and torque are nothing but numbers by themselves. They tell you nothing without factoring in the gear ratios of the tranny/rearend, shift points, stall speeds, etc. . . My old Cobra has less HP and torque than an LS1 F-body and was heavier, but I would kill them out of the hole. Top end was another story, and that's where the powerband is on the 4.6 4V. While i get what you're trying to say, are you willing to stand behind the statement that you think the thunderbird had a chance in the mentioned race? In a race around the track, or from a dead stop, or a top speed challenge, no. Not at all. My car has a sweet spot, almost like a power band on a 2 stroke, from 60-85. I'm still standing by he was either A) playing with you or B) didn't know how to drive

I must be weird then. I always say millimeter instead of em em i think you completely missed the point of my post, a 9mm is not a gun, it's a measurement to be specific, but i'd be way more ok with it being used to reference a bullet or cartridge(9x19 luger, parabellum, nato, etc) just like a "fiteen" is not a subwoofer, its the diameter of the sub. and that someone who refers to their gun by their bullet is not a gun person. just like ryan2 was saying, the whole damn point of concealed carrying is so that people don't know you carry. I personally would never carry if people knew i was. Interesting. I walk around asuming everyone I see is carying. Helps to gauge what may and may not be worth it. No offence to your friend, when the guy was bragging about his gun, or maybe imaginary gun... do you think he felt your lady friend wouldn't understand if he told her a type of gun. I only know one woman who knows when I tell her to go get me the 1911. I married her and trained her well. well i did consider that, but the fact that he was talking about carrying it seals the idiot deal for me. (and no offense taken, i'd never try to refer to a guy by a model number to a girl, or most guys)

9 millimeter it's like asking a guy what kind of subs he has and hearing "fiteens"
