I'm not knocking your car, i'm just saying the SRT is extremely fast for a stock car, and you shouldn't be able to touch it if yours is stock.

are you 100% sure it was an SRT? you're talking 330hp+stock in a car that's about 3200lbs and all of them had the auto (which is much better than the manual that i drove, POS 6-speed IMO)

i can tell you mine loves highway racing, i think the funnest race was a damn del sol (yea yea the story makes sense later). we're going up the mountain before christiansburg which is a huge long mountain with a pretty steep grade. He is being all fast and furious idiot style and pulls right up on my bumper and then cuts me off as he tries to speed off. I didn't even stomp down on it as we were already going about 80 and knew he had zero chance. He runs it up to about 95 which takes wayyyy too long. I shift down a gear and pull off from him by almost a car length, then slow back down and do it again. He won't even look over at me at this point so i slow down again, get right beside him and wait for him to look over, i make a running motion with my arms as i push the gas pedal down and leave him again, then slow down and do this about 3 times before he gives up.

is your bird stock? because there's no way you should be able to come close to the srt if it is

btw ryan how does the line loc work? The ones i've heard about I thought were completely mechanical, you step on the brake, press a button and it shuts off the flow so the fluid can't flow back (locking the brakes) and you press a button to release it. the style you're talking about must be different since it uses its own pump, does it just piggy back the stock lines?

then you shouldn't be worried about your launch anyway....

Asia is one thing. I far too often find my self in line with what was said earlier by Sean. The EU now has a new head. The last idiot was horrible. The new EU head has the chance to take over. I'm not concerned with China or russia, nothing even close. I have not been to China, but what I have heard from people I know who have been and have family there, they are just now barely breaking into being industrial, much less information aged. They sure can reverse enginear things, but they are a reactive culture, and government. Local power is huge but it's not as global as most think. Fawk I could be wrong.... who knows. I love the discussion though. Matt when your looking for your 3rd world country to live, I suggest Thailand. Close to so much natural beauty. Many other wonders are local too. I would kill to see Angkor, some of the temples in china and the Taj. In Thailand the women outnumber men by a huge margin and to top it off many of the men are gay. The ratio for the single guy is rather stellar and Thai women seem to think they are put on this earth to please man. Definitely worth a visit. I know where i'm visiting next!
