Give me your opinions on vehicles
Insurance is another factor as this will be paid straight out of my pocket. Strangely enough though, the crossfire is the cheapest of all the cars so far. Liability (not that i'd get it) is under $20/month. The altima is the highest(IIRC) but not so bad that i'd make me not get it. I think i'm going to drive an altima with the 5sp this weekend, and i'm now reading that the 6sd in the crossfire isn't exactly "nice" though i'd want to drive one to tell for myself. The charger is out, i'm too small for all those frame vehicles and just not very fond of them in general. I hate the idea of building a vehicle to be heavy as fuck then adding a big engine to it. If they were to shed 500-1k lbs i'd be all over them.

Give me your opinions on vehicles
Mazda 6 is on there because i haven't driven it, and that's the only reason. What i've driven thus far..... Crossfire with auto Mini Cooper S with auto (turbo version) Civic SI with manual Altima 2.5 w/CVT TC with 5spd --maybe others that i can't remember ATM Hands down the most fun was the cooper, but it has too many drawbacks for me to consider it. The altima and the crossfire are the most attractive in my book, with the altima easily winning for MPG but classy is crossfire hands down and the crossfire was much more fun to drive than the altima. the altima's 20gallon tank and up to 38mpg highway is a huge huge plus that's not frequent fillups at all

Long story short ... drive 'em all and see what you like best. If you find out about major problems with your top pick, it may be time to look at the second. Just don't go piss away hard earned money on something you aren't 100% sure about - get exactly what you want. I was DEAD set on going with a CTS ... but clearly I didn't wind up with one. A couple year old Charger R/T (340hp and still 23-26MPG on the highway if you use the MDS) is in your price range. Same for an '07 Accord, '05-'06 G35, etc. I'm not one to jump in to any sort of decision which is why i'm doing this. I really appreciate you and dem's opinions/help. Tc VS Civic, i drove both of these and liked the Tc way more which is why the civic isn't on the list. civic seemed extremely cheap on the inside and i just didn't like the way it drove. Not a fan of the CVT because i just don't feel like it applies the power the way I like, it has the shifttronic thing so i can still shift it, so i can deal with it, but i'd prefer the 6spd. I"ll finish this up later, classes are changing

Give me your opinions on vehicles
Ok so it's time to retire stratusfaction. This vehicle will be used for my HUGE daily commute to school of 30miles round trip, lol. Now here's what i've narrowed it to so far. New Scion Tc Used 2008 Altima Coupe Used Mazda 6 Used VW GLI and the biggie... Used Chrysler Crossfire Ok so here's the breakdown of my pro's and cons for each TC- rather plain vehicle and i'm not super fond of the styling, apparently it's also going to get redesigned for 2010 and get the better 2.5L engine. It's also very common and i'd rather have a vehicle that i don't pass 10 of on the way to school. Gets good gas mileage, but not great. Can't really beat the price for a new vehicle, and the used ones hold their value extremely well. ~18k new Used Altima Coupe - This one is very attractive. I was very surprised when i saw this in person and really like the vehicle. The interior is ugly as funk as it is taupe/camel cloth but i like the idea of it not getting hot as fuck. The gas mileage is fantastic as the one i'm looking at has the 4cyl, but it also has the CVT tranny that i'm not a fan of. I can't afford one of these new so i get exactly what i want but the used one i'm looking at has less than 4k on the ticker and is marked at $25k (w/o negotiating). Used Mazda 6 - good gas mileage, a little bigger and not as attractive, not really very fond of this one but had to put it up. Used VW GLI - Really like this car as well, classier than the maxima but black on black will be hot. This one's mileage is around 24k but the price is $19k Crossfire - these can be had all day long for $15-17k with less than 15k miles. No back seat hurts a little but i never use the stratus's backseat unless i'm throwing groceries in it, and the crossfire has a decent sized trunk for a tiny coupe. The plus for this one is that it is sexy as hell and fun to drive, not ungodly fast but more than enough for spirited driving to raise the pulse a little. The downside is the advertised MPG though i hear they usually get 25-30 on the highway and that around town rarely drops much below that. 99% of my commute is interstate so i should come quite close to highway driving mileage all the time. (note advertised is 19/25 for the auto and like 15/23 for the manual). Oh also the 6spd is a huge plus for me on this one. So basically if any of you know a reason to stay away from any of these vehicles, please chime in now.

Is it still going to be practical for you a few years down the road? if i end up becoming a potential father my biggest concern is where to hide the gfs body, not where to put a carseat Good man. Nice little cars though. 215hp in that thing is enough to get it going. I drove one while I was at the Chrysler/Dodge lot and naturally found it a little cramped. They had a used one there ... '07 with 16,000 kilometers in mint condition priced right around $17,500 before negotiating. I put one on once and decided it wasn't worth a drive around the block bent over in half, but considering that won't be your issue the only thing I'd worry about is long term reliability (I know nothing of it, but the net can help you with that one). yea especially considering i'm 5'6 and the gf is 5'nothoing the car was plenty big, but if i was a few inches taller i could see it being a problem. For you tall fuckers you'd need the convertible just to fit. So far i haven't found any good(reliable) reliability reports either negative or positive, but most of the mpg people are getting is WAY better than rated, usually running mid to upper 20s

Welcome to the IHoP
god damn it, the upcoming Tc is supposed to have the 2.5L which is a much better engine. For 20k i can get a very nice used car but won't be able to afford insurance for it, and it'll probably have a less gas friendly v-6 or 8. ugh

Welcome to the IHoP
as much as i love the 300, it suffers the same problems as all the dodge vehicles....weight if they'd shave of about a thousand pounds that car would be unbelievable, just to offer a stripped version with the big engine and zero creature comforts would suffice

I still can't bring myself to stick it to the woman, and I can't seem to be able to screw another chick either knowing the mother of my child is waiting at home. Damn this shit. Bah just do it, take some viagra and smoke up, then tear it up.
