speaking of bikes, there was an old beamer flat twin sitting on the parking around the drill field today. I wanted to get out and dry hump it a little but the gf wouldn't stop.

Any way you could get a 7200rpm HDD instead of the 5400? The 5400 rpm drives are usually 7200rpm drives turned down to reduce noise, many of them burst to 7200 when accessing data. Not sure on that one since I didn't look at it. Pretty much all the laptops i've looked at have 5400rpm drives, i assumed they were just more stable or something but you all would know better than I.

so far the only things i don't like about that laptop is that for a couple hundred more i can get a 2.5ghz dual core, but it's the T series, not the P, and i've heard great things about the P series. The other is windows vista *puke* but like it or not that's the way we're heading so i might as well conform now. but yes there will be a partition for xp

I'd go typed and signed and make copies. You'll be lucky if anything gets done without you having to harass.

The suspension will loosen up a little but you don't have to actually worry about breaking them in softly. Play them with the same care you always would and they'll be fine.

Do tell I found what seems to be a pretty good classic airhead forum, but their registration-email thingie isn't working I'd like to have a forum to go to before paying BMWMOA dues...although if I end up with one I'd probably join anyway...
