so yea before i start buying and end up with tons of stuff that i can't use, i want your all's opinions. The setup i'm going to have is... avalanche sub (dvc both coils ran to terminals on box) orion 1200d amp running @ 1 ohm, but want capable of running at 1/2 (in case i get another ava) so i'm guessing 1/0 power wire instead of my 4ga Pioneer 35w X 2 @4ohm (has scoshe kit running to it now, looks like 10g power wire)...going to run it to my tweets eventually cadence z1200c (best info i can find says 250W X 2 @ 4ohm) going to run comps off this eventually) soo, here's my ideas so far, i'm wanting to go with knukonceptz unless someone knows a better brand that is less expensive, i'm broke. I want to get terminals from knukonceptz, so i can run the wire all the way to the battery, unlike the place i have it now...dave knows what i mean here. I'm thinking ~20ft of 0/1 gauge power wire to a distro block and run 4ga to each amp (cause that distro block is much easier to find...i'll find a way to make it work for the pioneer) 4ga ground for all the amps too (cept pioneer obviously). I'm thinking the bi-speaker wire from knu, cause it should save me a little money (running it for the comps. so i only have to make one run). but will 12g be plenty for the comps running over 100W to each? preferrably the possibility of 250W without problems. 8ga speaker wire for the 1200d, unless thats overkill, which isn't bad if it's a little overkill, but if its a lot, i'll go higher. inline fuse holder with like...250amp fuse? i think thats it, right now i have the 4ga wire that i ran for the 1200d before. everything else i'll have to buy. if you all haven't noticed i have to think about something a LOT before jumping in, everything has to make sense and preferrably be quantified. so sorry if this post is completely useless

i just bought a cadence amp thats chrome, i'd love to find someone that could powdercoat it black chrome...this shouldn't be bad should it? i can't really find any info about powdercoating but i think it'd be better than paint

yea if you're going to be there, i get out of anatomy at 2:15, so i should be at dave's around 2:45 (takes me a while to walk to my DAMN car. i'll have to leave around 3:30 though...sucks but i'm wanting to hear your car

haha i can't glass and i don't think ramos will have the time, plus he's going to be so high we won't know where he is after a while anyway

if there's nothing else going on this weekend i'd love to make a box for the ava i have coming in, i don't know what size or anything yet, but with the brains that are there i'm sure we could come to a conclusion

i'll probably stay in town this weekend, head to shanna's sunday night, she has most of the weekend off IIRC so she should be there too, and damn it Jim you better be there if i get the AVA in, i need good ears to tell me if it was worth my money, all i hear is boom boom boom, you and dave hear the guy's hearbeat speed up from the crowd's excitement, :-P

i know the first run you hit something like 143.7 and they said you gained half a db after the deadening. but i can't swear to anything after the first run
