k so what if i ran 2 of them with 3000 watts a piece 1 sub to 1 amp would that b fine and how much cubic feet of airspace would i need for the box and how much port area

h im looking to run 4 of these subs maybe 2 unsure yet but im looking to get 2 3000 watt dc amps, will the level 5 18 be good for 3000 watts or is it not enough

Actually, so far this was the 3rd time it rained, and forced a rain date. The Epping show took place a couple weeks after the original date, the Boomer Nashua show hasn't been able to find a location to hold their last show, but we're still waiting to hear the final word on that one. The Jammin show will most likely happen Sunday regardless. So it could be worse. The weather this season has been a lot worse than previous years, seems like winter is coming a lot faster than usual too. Wonder how cold it's gonna be at our final show, that ones on Oct 24 and it's a night show. hey here we go guys a few more days left motor jam 09, hopefully is a big show and a big spl turnout, ECAC will lbe there in full force, the weather is saying cloudy yet 70 so perfect weather the sun one b out heating everyones stuff up,

i paid 1000 bucks for my headunit its a clarion touch screen with bluetooth and everything, i would rather get the matrx, another thing is on the audio control site is has a diagram saying what you should buy for maximum spl set-up, and it goes epicenter, eqx, matrix, that wouldnt b a good set-up , im new to spl, im juts starting to get the hang of it a lil but this is my first time ever looking at this type of equipment You don't need the Epicenter, we have established that, unless you listen to a lot of old tapes or 8-tracks. And wow, $1k an only 2 volts........ Anyway, if your head unit has no crossovers or EQ and your amplifiers have no crossovers, then the EQX is a possibility. The Matrix is a nice unit, but you have to find out if your amps will accept nearly 8 volts of signal. I am not at all saying their products are not good, just you have to understand they want people to buy as much of their product as possible. We could do the same thing and tell people they must buy 4 SSA Xcon 18's for maximum SPL, totally disregarding what all they have in their system or their actual needs. yeah its more of a show car deck thats what i said when i really started getting into spl but on the matric cant you adjust the output voltage, ,n my deck has a high an low pass filter, and my amps have the frequncy knobs on them as well as gain, im just lookng for theb est possible sound and best spl i can get you kno,

so why is the epicenter no longer needed It was meant to restore lost low end frequencies in older recordings. But that is no longer is an issue with modern recordings, so it only adds distortion now. k so how would i tell if my amps were able to handle the voltage that the matrix puts out, im running 2 rockford t1000 power elite series, cause my voltage is very low from my head unit its onyl 2

i feel like my bass is lacking lows i do spl competitions and i want the loudest clearest bass possible to hit the highest number on the meeter i also dont have a amp for my speaker i wil b getting one soon so im hoping that the very detailed equalizer will be able to get me hitting hard but very clear, ive heard audio control was very respected company, and i want a good product

the processor im lookin at has a line driver i was just wondering would a processor benefit me for spl usage

i have a clarion vrx785bt , its a touch screen with 2 volt outputs it has a built in 5.2 sound processor, like spl scion said my output volts are very low
