I did the chassis to battery ground of the big three tonight. What a pain that was, nothing would just work right. Now my voltage sits at 14.1 though. I also got my sub secured and wired up to a 1 ohm load. I still need to find a good ground spot for the amp and add a engine to chassis ground, but hopefully im off work tomorrow so I will have time, I wanna have everything done when the amp arrives so all I have to do is set it and plug it in. There will be videos when the amp arrives, hopefully my voltage will stay decent.

Well i did some work today and got back on schedule. I ran the power wire under the car to the trunk, and also got new battery terminals and installed them. All I need now is to do the grounds for the big 3 and run the ground for the amp! Also the amp should be here Friday the 13th. So 2 more days Edit: Fixed my computer so i can post pics but lost my camera. Ill find my camera and post pics tomorrow. Also with the positive of the big 3 ran my voltage sits at 13.9 idle with air off.

I would think all you would need would be a constant 12volt, ground, and another 12volt thats only on when the key is. You could tap in to the fuse panel for the power wires then just run a new ground. Dont forget the antennae though.

Well what are your goals no one can help you if we don't know what you want. I dont know much about the AA sub but i know the Q is more of a SQ sub so if getting loud is your main goal there are better choices.

Ok so battery relay not isolater. Im guessimg im going to need around a 200amp relay? Also what size fuse should I use for the power wires 250 amp? Edit: I just called literally 12 autoparts store with no luck they said as soon as they take em off the shelf there gone.

I believe you that's just one of those things I never would have known if someone wouldn't have shared it. I'm definately gonna call and ask all the local part stores. Another thing I was wondering was if I get an isolator for playing music with the car off will the battery automatically recharge when the engine is running? Is an isolator really necessary or should I just wire the extra batts to the main batt and wire my amp to the batts in the trunk. I plan on purchasing 2 extra batteries to put in the trunk and keep the original main batt. Also space really isn't an issue because there are two large battery shaped spots on eitherside of the box.

Thanks man. Also I talked to a local AutoRadio store today and to my suprise they didn't know anyone with a TL . Also the manager/owner informed me that the AQ 2200d would only put out around 1kw at 1 ohm .

I will as soon as it gets here! I ran my RCA's and my remote wire last night. I also repainted my wheels, THINGS TO DO FOR NOW 1. Finish big 3 2. Get new battery terminals 3. Get fuse and run power wire for amp. 4. Fix e-brake 5. Change oil 6. Get voltage meter Thats all I can think of for now but all progress is very difficult with my right hand covered in 2nd degree burns. I need to figure out if or how large of battery bank ill need to. Also I think im gonna try to install some LED's or neon in my trunk and cabin not sure though. Also thimking about painting some interior trim pieces.

If you follow my build log you'll see I'm gonna be running an aq 2200 to an 18 btl at 1 ohm. My car has a 135 amp alt but I'm pretty sure ill need some batts. I have room for 2 large batteries but I'm unsure of what kind. Would 2 of the everstart maxx batts from walmart work? Or do I have to use a deep cycle battery? Also do I have to replace my batt under the hood? Also do I have to match my batteries in the trunk with my main battery? Big 3 will be done all wire will be 1/0 also.
